He made Cornwall his new home and became the patron saint of tin-miners after rediscovering tin smelting.
Today, Cornwall still celebrates St Piran's Day, with various celebrations held across Cornwall.

Lovely house and garden. Excellent kitchen and utility facilities. Great outside storage space in addition to garage parking. Very warm house, great showers and bathroom facilities . Easy access via rear lane for disabled person in wheelchair who isn't totally wheelchair dependant (only 1 step at back door which could be accessed using removable ramp which we had with us but did not need to use)
Mr Docker Aug 2020
We’ve just returned from an amazing week at Lucille’s 47. The house was as described, clean and spacious with plenty of room for us all (2 adults & 3 kids) & the house would very comfortably sleep 8. Lucille’s 47 is located close to the top of a steep hill so be prepared for aching legs at the end of a walk back from one of the beautiful beaches! We were a little concerned that our car, a Discovery Sport, would be too large for the garages however were able to fit in with a bit of wriggling. Will definitely consider staying here again when we next visit Cornwall.
Mr Addison Aug 2019
Lovely big house, lots of space, beds really comfy and was very close to town. The walk back up the hill was a bit arduous but we all had a great time. Free parking in the 2 garages but doesn’t accommodate a car with a top box. Free parking from 4pm to 9am at St George’s Rd car park.
Mrs Humphrys Aug 2019

Mrs Hazley Aug 2019

Mr Boulcott Apr 2019
Beautiful property in a brilliant location. My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lucille's 47 and we can't wait to come back!
Miss Carter Oct 2018
Really nice, characterful property - tastefully decorated and homely. The steep hill not recommended for the unfit though!
Mr Clayton Aug 2018
The cottage is in a really good location close to the town and beaches. The cottage was very clean and all the equipment was brand new and the property was very clean and done out to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend the property to friends and family and hope to return soon.
