Lovely cottage, just off Fore Street. We wondered if it might be noisy because of its central location, but in May, it really wasn’t. The photos in the ad don’t do the property justice, it’s so much nicer, everything was clean and modern, comfy sofas, well kitted out kitchen, comfy beds with nice bedding. It must have been renovated, decorated and re-carpeted very recently. Having the lounge on the top floor was great - a lovely quirky room with lovely views (and lighting!)
Having it’s own parking space was a bonus. Parking was a challenge for all using the car park, but we managed to get an Audi A4 estate into the space without too much difficulty - definitely helps to have someone outside the car offering guidance re distance to posts, walls etc.

Fantastically located property which could not be more central to all that St Ives has to offer if you tried!. High quality fixtures, furnishings and equipment added to the comfort of our holiday and the icing on the cake was a parking space (although it certainly will test your parking skills!!). Cannot wait to rebook this property again.

Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.
So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.

Great location, close to shops, beaches, bars and restaurants. The cottage is on the small side for 6 adults particularly the lounge.

Thank you for your comments and it is great to hear how much you enjoyed the fantastic location of this property. A lot of the more central properties in St Ives, particularly the old fisherman's cottages are smaller, with layouts more quirky than more modern buildings and those further out of town, but with that you get to be right in the heart of it all, just a short stroll from all the amazing beaches, shops, cafes, restaurants, and galleries. These properties are also packed full of character inside and out. We always try to be as open and honest as possible and try to show the space and facilities that you have within the properties as best as we can. Sandy Shores will accommodate 6, with a king size double room, a zip and link double or twin room and a twin room, and with a dining area for 6. But we understand that the space in these types of properties may not always suit every party, and we appreciate that in your particular case, you were originally due to be in a property that slept 10, so the available space would have been very different. We are sorry for the unforeseen and urgent circumstances that led to the change of plans. It is very rare that things like that happen, and we hope that you still had a great time here in St Ives. A lovely holiday cottage in a perfect central location for everything St Ives has to offer. It was very well equipped and clean and the views across the harbour were stunning. We would highly recommend staying there.

Sandy Shores didn't disappoint at all. We had an amazing stay for a week in June. The house is situated in the most fabulously quiet terrace just off lovely Virgin Street, and with it being three stories high and the sitting room being on the top floor, we had the most incredible views that you would normally have to climb tiringly high in St Ives to spectate :) We are intending to stay there again next year, so I must get booking. We always stay with Aspects but we felt this was the best accommodation yet, although they are all pretty spectacular, and over the last 5 or 6 years we have stayed in some gorgeous houses and apartments with this company.

An amazing house, beautifully decorated, very well equipped and in the most fantastic location.
