It's great to hear you had a lovely stay at Sandy Shore. Traditional properties in Cornwall, and especially in St Ives, can be a little quirky, but we hope you agree that it adds to the character! While there is a sloped ceiling in the living room, those one of a kind views certainly make up for it. We hope we can welcome you back again soon. Katy, Customer Services.
Lovely property situated in convenient location for both town and the beaches, with excellent views across to the harbour. If you have difficulties with mobility this may not be the right property for you.

Would recommend this property to anyone.Ideally situated for shops restaurants and the beach.

Sandy shores is a lovely place to stay. It is very comfortable and near to the town centre, harbour and beaches. We have visited several times and will be back in 2024.

Fab house, everything you need for your holiday, great location would highly recommend.
Mrs James Aug 2023
The house was in an ideal location, it was very central to nip back during the day if required. A car parking space was definitely a bonus, even though it was a short walk away and not adjacent to the property. It was nice to have peace of mind the your car was safe and a guarantee of you space being there when you returned from a day exploring Cornwall.

We’ve stayed in four aspects cottages this was by far the best accommodation so far with the parking within easy reach I would highly recommend this property.

Great location, close to shops, beaches, bars and restaurants. The cottage is on the small side for 6 adults particularly the lounge.

It really is in such an amazing location, isn't it? So close to all the beaches, shops, and restaurants. We are glad you enjoyed it. Sandy Shores will accommodate 6, with a king size double room, a zip and link double or twin room and a twin room, and with a dining area for 6. There is plenty of seating in the lounge for 6 with a 3-seater sofa, 2-seater sofa and an armchair, where you can sit and enjoy those beautiful views, though we appreciate that if you are used to a larger area at home, this may feel small, and we understand that in your particular case, you were originally due to be in a property that slept 10, so the available space would have been very different to what you had booked originally. We are sorry for the unforeseen and urgent circumstances that led to the change of plans. We hope that you still had a great time here in St Ives and in this lovely, characterful cottage. Lovely cottage, just off Fore Street. We wondered if it might be noisy because of its central location, but in May, it really wasn’t. The photos in the ad don’t do the property justice, it’s so much nicer, everything was clean and modern, comfy sofas, well kitted out kitchen, comfy beds with nice bedding. It must have been renovated, decorated and re-carpeted very recently. Having the lounge on the top floor was great - a lovely quirky room with lovely views (and lighting!)
Having it’s own parking space was a bonus. Parking was a challenge for all using the car park, but we managed to get an Audi A4 estate into the space without too much difficulty - definitely helps to have someone outside the car offering guidance re distance to posts, walls etc.

Fantastically located property which could not be more central to all that St Ives has to offer if you tried!. High quality fixtures, furnishings and equipment added to the comfort of our holiday and the icing on the cake was a parking space (although it certainly will test your parking skills!!). Cannot wait to rebook this property again.
Mr Pillar Jan 2022
A lovely holiday cottage in a perfect central location for everything St Ives has to offer. It was very well equipped and clean and the views across the harbour were stunning. We would highly recommend staying there.
Mrs Rye Jul 2021
Sandy Shores didn't disappoint at all. We had an amazing stay for a week in June. The house is situated in the most fabulously quiet terrace just off lovely Virgin Street, and with it being three stories high and the sitting room being on the top floor, we had the most incredible views that you would normally have to climb tiringly high in St Ives to spectate :) We are intending to stay there again next year, so I must get booking. We always stay with Aspects but we felt this was the best accommodation yet, although they are all pretty spectacular, and over the last 5 or 6 years we have stayed in some gorgeous houses and apartments with this company.

An amazing house, beautifully decorated, very well equipped and in the most fantastic location.
