Quirky cottages with a difference

Cornwall has always been a popular holiday destination, and it’s easy to see why with its golden sandy beaches, turquoise waters, quaint coastal villages and beautiful countryside. However, when choosing somewhere to stay, ‘location location location’ isn’t everything. A holiday gives us the chance to escape the everyday, to embrace a little luxury, and relax in a welcoming and calming space, away from the chaos of everyday life. Finding somewhere unique and quirky is a bonus!

We’ve picked out some of our favourite quirky cottages, so read on to find out why we love them.

The Crooked Townhouse, Penzance

Situated in one of the oldest parts of Penzance, in the historic Chapel Street, The Crooked Townhouse is a destination in itself. Discover a trove of wonders on every floor of this quirky house, from its remarkable crooked staircase to its whimsical interiors and bold colour choices. Thought to be constructed in the 1700s, this Grade II-listed property boasts character in abundance. You’ll be inspired by the interiors at The Crooked Townhouse, where quirky charm meets opulent style.

You’ll love sinking into the deep bathtub while soaking up views of the harbour.

With a rich history dating back to the 17th Century, there’s character and charm in abundance at this waterside residence, from its ancient beams to the exquisite parquet flooring. If you’re seeking a slice of luxury with added quirky features and unique style, then look no further than Briton’s Slip.
