We stayed for a week in tPump Cottage & it has exceeded all our expectations ! Everything was perfect, spotlesly clean and well presented & everything had been provided by the owners, even down to the milk tea coffee and biscuits on arrival, thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

We have stayed in Aspects properties many times and always get excellent service from them . Pump Cottage is the best we have stayed in . It is comfortable , cosy and welcoming. We appreciated the little touches which made the cottage very homely. The central location is great ( very handy to have a Co-op just round the corner! ) It is near the harbour and other beaches and near the station and bus stops . This meant we didn’t need a car which was very freeing . Yes , there is some noise from the pub round the corner but usually went quiet around 11pm.
We would definitely choose Pump Cottage again .

Lovely touches such as tea, coffee, milk and lots of ice cubes. Comfortable furniture and lots of extras such as beach furniture. Great location, right by the bus shuttle to the main car park. Very clean. Surprising spacious for a cottage.
Mrs Faulkner Aug 2024
One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in it's absolutely perfect in every way. We can't wait to return
Miss Monk Aug 2024
Pump cottage was well equiped and very comfortable for the 4 adults on the holiday and the weather was good enough for us to use the excellent outdoor space.
Mr Kemp Jun 2024
Everything you could wish for in a holiday cottage, full of charm and character, modern but tastefully furnished. We were so comfortable and with everything on our door step, it was superb. Slight noise from the nearby pub but only on one night and it was brief and didn't affect our enjoyment of the cottage. Will definitely be back.
Miss Johnson Dec 2023

Fab cottage, location very central. Close to a pub but we had no noise or issues. The cottage has everything you need. We didn’t cook but if we did there was every dish, utensils etc you could wish for. Definitely look to book again in future.
Mrs Bilson Jun 2023
Just back from a Christmas break at Pump Cottage. It was lovely. Yes, there is some noise from the pub but it never lasted long. The cottage was spotless, every kitchen utensil you would ever need and incredibly cosy. The Christmas decorations were a really thoughtful addition.
The boiler had a minor "moment" which was slightly disconcerting just before everything shut down for the holidays. But Sarah from Aspects was able to get hold of an engineer to fix it. All very quick and efficient.
Pump.Cottage was perfect for a winter break. Would highly recommend it.
Ms Sheffield Dec 2022
Nice cottage beautifully decorated in town centre location
Mr Fearn Nov 2022
Pump Cottage was in a great location, really comfortable, excellently equipped, tastefully decorated, very clean and beautifully warm. We wanted for nothing, slept really well, and loved coming home to our cosy cottage every evening. Would definitely recommend.
Ms Syvret Sep 2022
We had a great week in Pump Cottage. The location for accessing all areas of St Ives is fantastic. The pub at the end of the road can be noisy at weekends but if you’re tired you’ll sleep through it! The outside space is great for breakfast and dinner. Only one warning: if you’re tall then don’t forget to duck - almost all the doors are lower than you think! Would happily stay here again!

A lot of the traditional cottages here in St Ives have very quirky layouts; some with lower ceilings, narrower stairs, and smaller doors than what we are all used to in more modern homes, but it is part of the charm of these types of properties and what attracts so many people to them. We hope that you didn't find it too much of an inconvenience and that the pub was what you were expecting from our website description. Tanya, Customer Services
This was our third stay in Pump Cottage and it’s always good to be back. The home from home comforts and space for the family is great and use of the beach kit is always appreciated.
Mrs Young Jul 2022
Pump Cottage is a lovely, well equipped cottage in an excellent location. It’s exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Obviously more than just a holiday let to the owners! Everything we needed was there …and we loved ‘The Hobbit Hole’ door which led into the garden. Would definitely go back for another visit! Vikki Day
Mr Home May 2022
Really enjoyed our stay at Pump Cottage. Great, central location. Cosy, warm, spotless accommodation. Wish we were still there.
Mrs Parsons Oct 2021
Pump cottage exceeded our expectations being so centrally located with only 2 mins walk to shops and 5 mins from a choice of beaches.
The cottage facilities were excellent and the house was spotlessly clean when we arrived.
Miss Walsh Jul 2021

Mr Serle Aug 2020
Just spent a lovely week in St Ives, Cornwall staying at Pump Cottage. The cottage was lovely, warm and homely and had everything you could wish for. On the first morning however, the boiler packed up leaving us with no hot water. I rang Aspects holidays, who sent a very nice plumber round to fix it, we did not have to wait too long. On Friday night there was some noise from the pub round the corner, but the rest of the week it was quiet. Pump Cottage is in easy reach of every where in St Ives.Do try the Scoff Troff cafe for dinner and the Cornish Deli for breakfast- you will not be disappointed! The only thing wrong with this lovely cottage was we had to leave it.

Thanks for your lovely comments and apologies for the issue you experienced with the boiler - we're glad we were able to fix it for you promptly. I'm pleased to say that the owner has since installed a brand new boiler so all is running smoothly again. We hope to see you again soon! Doug, Marketing Manager.
The cottage was as beautiful as I imagined and more, it has everything you need from dvds to kitchen utensils. It's located in a perfect spot in st Ives where its a few minutes walk to everything you need. We cannot wait to come back next year and would definitely stay in the same cottage
Miss Fuller Apr 2019
Lovely cottage with nice little courtyard garden. Ideally situated for town. Bear in mind that you may end up parking some distance from the property and up fairly steep hills.

Thank you for your lovely feedback! With the origin of St Ives being an old fishing town, there are many traditional cottages that do not have the facility of a parking space. Though there is no parking directly at the property, we hope that the other benefits and character that Pump Cottage offers made the walk well worth it. If ever you are looking at returning to Pump Cottage, our Sales Team would be happy to advise you on other car parks in St Ives. Lucy, Customer Services
Beautiful home and well equipped. Great location, minutes from beaches, harbour and shops. We want to live here! . . . And would definitely stay again :-)
Ms Wiltshire Jul 2018
Park Avenue is the closest car park....you can (briefly) pull up outside cottage to unload luggage The "Hobbit Hole" doorway to the outside area might present problems to anyone with mobility or infirmity issues....or to elderly
