Super location, lovely decor and everything you would need. The terrace was fabulous for watching the fireworks on New Year’s Eve! Lovely stay

December 2024

Great property, excellent view from the upper garden terrace (garden wonderfully planted) and upper sleeping room, near to the center and walking distance to several beaches. Quite a few steps in the house and up to the garden terrace, which didn't bother us, but you should know, if your are not good on foot. It was everything there that we needed (and even more!). Great to have a parking spot directly in front of the property. Quick response from Aspects Holidays when we had questions. Very helpful welcome package as arriving on saturday evening. Thank you very much!

Lovely position, fabulous garden, relaxing house to stay in. Enjoyed it but there are cleaning issues. Cobwebs etc even after the June comments.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback following your stay at Sea Garden, we are so pleased you enjoyed your time in St Ives. It is such a shame to hear if the standard of cleanliness was not to the high level that you would have expected, we can only apologise if any areas had been missed. Had you been in touch during your stay we would have been more than happy to get these rectified for you, but now that we have received this feedback, we will be closely monitoring this so thank you for your comments. Katy, Customer Services.

We stayed at this property the week beginning 17th June. Luckily the weather was wonderful. It allowed us to be out of the property as much as possible. Unfortunately the property was far from clean I have never seen as many cobwebs in a rental property. The glass fronted electric fire in the lounge was absolutely full of cobwebs, the fan in the bathroom was clogged with dirt and cobwebs . We had to clean the inside of the drawers in the bedroom before could put our clothes in them. The radiator in the kitchen was thick with hairs and dust behind it. There was rubbish in the kitchen bin when we arrived. All in all a really disappointing stay we reported it to Aspect holidays and I just hope that the cleaners went in after we left and did a full deep clean for the next visitors.

We were so sorry to hear that you arrived to this. It is extremely unusual for that property; that housekeeping company usually has fantastic feedback, so we are certain that with the feedback having been passed on to them, they will have addressed all your concerns following your departure. I am also aware that the owner was going to be going into the property to check on things as well. The team have had a chat with you since, so we hope that you feel more reassured that this is not the norm and not what we would expect for guests, and it is such a shame that we only heard from you 2 days before your departure so that we could have addressed these issues earlier in your stay so that you could enjoy this lovely property to its fullest. Thank you so much for letting us know though so that we could follow up with this and we hope that we will have the opportunity to welcome you back here for you to experience the usual very high standards. Another great stay. We love this property. Great location, lots of space, quiet, beautifully furnished. We extended for another three nights. The beds are super comfy. We will definitely be back.

We completely fell in love with this house. Everything about it was ideal for us, brilliant to have parking right outside, great location and the house itself is beautifully designed and styled. The beds are very comfy and the views from the upper floors, garden terrace and garden room are not to be missed. It feels much more a home than a holiday let and the interior styling and design create a real sense of calm and relaxation. I was sad to leave and we will definitely return.

We completely fell in love with this property. It's beautifully decorated, has amazing views from the upstairs rooms and the incredible terrace and garden office and the beds were really comfy, The parking outside the door was excellent and it's really close to everything. It feels very much a home rather than a holiday let and a lot of work has clearly gone into the interior design and styling which makes it calm and harmonious throughout. I really didn't want to leave. We will definitely stay here again!

A fabulous property, there was everything you could possibly need. The beds were extremely comfortable with lots of space in the bedrooms The garden was amazing, we spent a lot of the time in the fantastic Summer house overlooking the great views The welcome pack was great - so thank you very much for letting us share your beautiful house. Hope to come back again next year

We spent the most amazing week at Sea Garden. The garden is truly magical and the house is beautifully decorated. Fully recommend!

The Sea Garden was absolutely beautiful! The photos didn’t do it justice. We especially loved the garden house and the beautiful views. We would definitely book again. P.s Thank you for the bottle of wine and other snacks ??

We had a lovely stay at Sea Garden in St. Ives, the view from the terrace was fantastic and with the great weather it was certainly a bonus. It was well located for the beaches, shops and bars which made for a very enjoyable holiday.

Great property with stunning views. Having a parking space was a massive bonus. Nice to be a little out of the centre of St Ives, but within easy walking distance. Very well appointed & lovely arrival package of essentials. Very comfortable beds and lots of space. The garden is beautiful & lovely to sit in for a morning coffee! However, if you have mobility issues, this isn’t the property for you - lots of very steep steps. Would highly recommend to anyone and would love to go back sometime.

Perfect location. Stunning views from the decked area. Lovely welcome hamper which was a nice touch. Overall a perfect holiday.

We had a wonderful week in Sea Gardens. As a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 9, it was great and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The summerhouse was great at the top of the garden and we enjoyed spending time in there as a family, playing games and seeing the beautiful view. The steps are steep in the garden but this was not a problem for us. Our car (C-class Mercedes estate) fitted into the parking space with no problems too. The location was prefect, close to the shops and the beautiful beaches. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

The Sea Garden was absolutely lovely, we had a wonderful time, such a convenient location. It was very well appointed and very cosy, thank you very much.

This is a beautiful house with sea views from the first floor and stunning views from the summer house at the top of the garden. Very close to the shops and only a few minutes from the beaches. Steep steps up to the house from town, in the house and up to the summer house ( like a second lounge). These kept me fit but not ideal for the very young or anyone who struggles with steps. Parking for a medium sized car only. Very comfortable beds. Loved it so much have booked again!

We booked Sea Garden for a stay with our children (23 &27) and had a superb 2 weeks. The place is amazing, nice design, everything you need is there. We used a lot the upper terrace and garden house and we will never forget the fantastic views from up there. We thought that our Volvo V60 would be too big, but it could fit in the parking place.

Sea Garden is a wonderful space, which is beautifully presented at all levels. The garden is well tended, and there is a real feeling of care having been taken over the details. The artist’s shed is just a dream, so for any creative types looking for a space to read, write or play music, this is a really wonderful space. The terrace with the view over the sea was wonderful and I enjoyed eating meals up there. You do need to be fit and confident in your footing to get up the steep steps to enjoy the garden, so anyone looking just needs to make sure it is the right fit for them. A wonderful space, which I would highly recommend!

We loved the Sea Garden and intend to visit again. We have a Ford Kuga 4x4 and managed to park in the car park space. This location was great as we didn't need to drive in the tight congested roads in the centre of St Ives. Great location, great accommodation. Very happy and would recommend. One downside, the hill is steep and there are lots of steps involved.

A beautiful cottage in an excellent location with far reaching views of the bay yet a short distance down steps to the town. Allocated parking directly outside was a bonus, as was the large summerhouse and terrace which provided sunbathing areas plus ample shade when required.

If you are lucky enough to be able to book this absolutely amazing property you will not be disappointed. Everything about the property is 5* and above. It’s probably one of the very best cottages we have ever stayed in.

The parking space allocated is only suitable for a normal family car ( not the huge 4x4 we have ) but you can park in the streets above or local car park.

Beautiful property with the most stunning views. Additional garden room an extra bonus.

We were lucky enough to get a last minute cancellation for this property, we couldn’t believe our luck. It is well decorated and perfectly situated in St Ives to be close enough to the town without the crowds. There is parking right outside although this is tight and anything bigger than a Golf will struggle. The best bit about this property are the views from the top terrace and the stunning summer house, but beware the steps to access.

Thank you for your comments. Sea Garden is a lovely place with loads of character and that view from the summer house is truly amazing; we are glad that you agreed and enjoyed your time there. Parking in St Ives is in huge demand, with many properties in the town not having this facility, so whilst it is only suitable for a small to average sized car, we hope that you found it a huge benefit. It can fit anything up to a Range Rover Evoque sized car, though you will need to park on an angle, and space will be tight. Thank you again and we hope that we will see you back here soon. This is a fantastic property - furnished by the owner like their home rather than a holiday let. Very tasteful and well equipped. The upper terrace is a steep climb up steps but is a real suntrap with amazing views over St ives and the sea. The summer house is wonderful to sit in when it's cooler and even has a heater. We couldn't imagine finding anything better and enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks soaking in the views. The pictures don't fully do this justice.

Very pleasant ,but you need to be pretty fit The vista is worth the effort needed

Really enjoyed our stay in Sea Garden, although we thought there could be some difficulty for those with slight mobility limitations. Worth noting that the parking space is only suitable for a smallish car and any passengers need to get out first before parking up! Place was lovely and clean and very welcoming. The bathroom was on the small size and it could get interesting if the house was full. It's easy to understand why this one is listed as unique and boutique. Best thing about Sea Garden has to be the views, especially enjoyed from up by the summer house - fabulous and well worth the climb!

We are glad to hear about how much you enjoyed your time at Sea Garden. Being in such a fantastic location, perched above the town, enjoying those beautiful views (especially from the top of the garden) does involve a bit of a climb from the town and beaches of St Ives at the end of the day, if you are on foot. There are also internal stairs and the steep steps up to the top of the garden that we detail, that should certainly be considered if you have limited mobility, or potentially if you are here with younger children. We are glad that you agreed that the climb is worth it though. The allocated parking space outside, is on the smaller size and cars should park at an angle to best fit in the space, so we only advertise this as being suitable for small to average size cars. For anyone interested in this property, please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns about the suitability of the space. Tanya, Customer Services

Excellent location, nicely furnished, outstanding view from the summerhouse level We really enjoyed our stay there.

Lovely cottage in a great location.

Sea Garden is an amazing holiday home. The garden and summerhouse are quite magical - beautiful succulent plants and statues everywhere, and the views are incredible. The house is on a busy one-way street that's also a bus route - it didn't bother us but meant we had to keep a particularly close eye on our 6-year old when moving to and from the car. Parking is in a very slim space at the front of the property, on the other side of the road. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything was spotless and we really didn't want to leave! St Ives Town is a few minutes walk away and Porthmeor Beach is a brisk 10-15 minute walk. You're in for a treat if you book this place!

Excellent location, tastefully decorated, everything you need.

Beautiful house, lots of thoughtful additional details - everything you think to pack was there to use even windbreak for the beach, cool bag, ice packs etc. Views from the summer house were really enjoyed. Managed to park a Kia Venga but anything longer wouldn't fit in parking space!

Thoroughly delighted with our stay at Sea Garden and would recommend to friends
