Parking is located on Belmont Place, just over a five minute uphill walk from the property, and the space will accommodate one large estate car and the space will require careful manoeuvring into. WiFi, one small dog welcome. , short breaks available.
We had a lovely week at Fisherman's Retreat and enjoyed being so close to the town and an easy walk to cafes and beaches. The house is well equipped and comfortable and worked well for our family of four with plenty of space for everyone, though tall people should take note of the low ceilings warning!

Another wonderful holiday in St Ives. First time staying at Fisherman’s Retreat and it was by far the best house we have stayed in. Perfect location and house was spotless with everything we needed, we could have moved in!

A wonderful cottage to stay for a visit to StIves but be prepared for a steep walk to the parking space which would not fit an estate car very well. The streets are narrow and quaint so park outside and offload before going to parking space. Easy to find with the instructions. Great shower which is always a bonus. Only a few minutes to walk to the harbour, shops, restaurants and beaches. The cottage is beautiful with a sea view from the attic room. Kitchen is in the basement with a low headroom meaning a few bangs to the head! Lots of stairs so maybe not suited to some people. All in all though a gem of a cottage and a fantastic home for your holiday.

So nice to read you found the cottage to be a little gem and it sounds like you had a good time there. Parking in St Ives is always at a premium, but having a guaranteed space to come back to is always a bonus and thank you for the tip about unloading. Some of the older properties in the town do have lower ceilings and beams than maybe we are used to in modern houses but always trying to be open and honest on the website, would hope all was as you had expected. You do have a bit of an uphill walk to get back to the property at the end of the day, after a day exploring the beaches or the many unique shops, cafes, restaurants, and galleries, but it's one way you can work off all the pasties, ice creams and cream teas that just must be tested out while here! (... and remember, this side of the Tamar, it's always jam first). We do hope we will see you again in the not-too-distant future. All best wishes, the Customer Services Team

We just returned from a week booking at Fisherman's Retreat. It is a very spacious and lovely decorated property with comfortable furniture within, it is a bonus to have 2x toilets and a lovely large walk in modern shower. The car park space in a secure garage just around the corner is very convenient. We will definitely return to Fisherman's Retreat and would highly recommend it.

Last minute booking at half term. Very nice property with free parking which is a big bonus in St Ives. Very convenient quick access to shops in town.

Fisherman's Retreat is a lovely place to stay in St Ives. The property is really nicely decorated, and the layout is just perfect. The location is also great, on a small street which is really quiet, but the property is close to everything you need it to be! I would definitely recommend this to anyone without hesitation.
