First time visit could not have wished for a better apartment with beautiful view of bay. With all home comforts, would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
Mr summers Mar 2022
17 Lyonesse is a great apartment.
Very well equipped, lovely comfortable bed and very cosy.
5-10 minutes walk into town depending on whether you are going to or down the hill.
Great to have a parking space although as previously stated it's very tight. Talland Road can be quite busy at times so be careful when trying to back out.
There is no wardrobe but adequate draw spaces.
Mrs Jayes Jan 2022
We had a lovely week using this apartment as a base. Great location with sea view. Very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. It is an uphill walk but perfectly manageable and only 10 minutes or so walk to the town and nearest beach. Great to have a designated parking space although it is very tight as described. Take a few hangers as there were only 2 provided but plenty of drawer space. Would definitely recommend this apartment and the service provided by Aspects Holidays.
Mr Morgan Jul 2021
Fantastic apartment, great views, very comfortable, great location.
Mrs Fisher Apr 2021
A petit apartment that is close but far enough away from centre of St Ives. Lovely views of Godrevy from the dining table. Parking space is a massive bonus in peak periods.
Mr Allen Sep 2020
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this apartment. Everything was exceptionally clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again. The location was great, not too far from the action but far enough for it to be peaceful. Can't wait to come back Julie - July 2020
Ms Chapman Jul 2020
A nice little apartment close to town with a parking space! Quiet and comfortable with a lovely glimpse of the sea. Be warned though, that as with much of St Ives, it is a very steep walk back home.
Ms Young Jan 2020
An ideally situated property close with allocated parking space and 10 minute walk into town or nearest beach. Small but adequate for a couple with a great view of the bay and across to Hayle.
Mr Ryan Oct 2019
Nice view from the bay window and not too far from the town centre. No outside space.
Mrs Clay Oct 2019
This is a one-bedroom apartment with a great view of the bay from the living room window. However the furnishings and equipment are very old and tired. We would not return to this apartment.

Thank you for your helpful comments and we are sorry to hear that this is not somewhere that you would return to. Following receiving your comments, we have now been in to inspect the property and report our findings to the property owners, who have already confirmed that they are replacing several items and will be visiting themselves soon, to check on the rest of the feedback. A well located, comfortable and compact apartment that has everything you need. It takes about 10 minutes to walk down to Porthminster beach and about 20 minutes to walk to the St. Ives harbour area. Although the apartment is in a great position and has a lovely view it is a very steep walk back from the beach or town and there are 3 flights of stairs to climb from the front gate so it kept us very fit! The car parking space is very handy but quite small and is very difficult to negotiate with a larger car.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, St Ives isn't the flattest of places, with many properties sitting perched above the town. 17 Lyonesse takes full advantage of its position above the town to gain a lovely sea view, but you do have a bit of steep walk up to the property from the town and beaches as a result. There are just 12 steps up to the property from the parking at the back, but as you mention, if you are coming in from the front gate, you do have more steps before getting to these. It is certainly something to consider before booking but we are glad that you agree that once inside, it is worth it. Thank you also for your comments about the parking space; we have now amended the information to advertise it as being suitable for small to medium size cars only. Tanya, Customer Services.
Lovely apartment for 2 people, parking is difficult and gorgeous view well worth money when it’s only few minutes walk to st ives town! Definitely will come back in the future!
Mrs Mills Jul 2019
An excellent location, parking onsite which is important in St Ives. Excellent, Thank you.
Mr Jones Jun 2019
Suitable for our stay in St Ives. Well equipped and having allocated parking space meant we could go out during the day with piece of mind that we had somewhere to park the car when we got back.
Mrs Shepherd Jun 2018
