November 2025

Beautiful house in a fabulous location. Perfect place to celebrate my 60th with family. Great kitchen and dining area, comfortable social spaces, good facilities for all ages. Very easy access to beaches - we were able to walk to and fro in our wetsuits and shower off outside on our return. Hot tub was a bonus to restore aching limbs after time in the sea. Great surf lessons on Porthmeor. Loads of great restaurants on the doorstep … our favourites of the week Arbor (birthday treat), Blas (best burgers ever) and Onzo (great pizza and pasta). Even with some wild weather we had an amazing holiday. Thank you.

The house is in a spectacular location with views that you don’t want to leave. In fact, we felt guilty about exploring beyond St Ives as the house was perfectly located with picture perfect views from the master bedroom, dining area and top twin bedroom! The hot tub was a wonderful bonus and we used it everyday despite a cold, wet February half-term. For St Ives, the garden is huge and the kids would have loved the slide, summer house and space to run if we’d been luckier with the weather! Bonus of roomy car park spaces, a rarity in St Ives. Unfortunately our stay was hugely impacted by the general disrepair of the house, lack of maintenance and inadequate cleaning. Aspects did send the housekeeping team upon learning of our concerns at check-in but unfortunately lots of the issues could not be rectified due to the magnitude of them. The master bathroom is mouldy, filthy and tiles are loose, not at all matching the photos online. Several windows are broken and rotten (one does not close which poses an issue in winter!). Walls were cracked and crumbling; curtains and carpets badly stained. Most of the pots and pans dirty and scratched and not fit for use. This did put us off cooking in the kitchen! The fire alarm panel was broken but we were assured this was not an issue because it had been “silenced”, which did worry us. There was black mould in some of the bathrooms and bedrooms. The “annexe” room was not needed thankfully but it was freezing and smelt damp, not ideal if the house is at maximum capacity. This is our fourth aspects property and the one in the worst condition. It had so much promise if care was taken over it but the cleanliness and lack of upkeep meant 2 families were disappointed and would not stay here again.

We were so sorry that you had these issues. The housekeeper returned to rectify the bits of cleaning that had been missed, but sadly the other areas were not things that they would have been able to address. The grouting for example needed to be removed and regrouted, rather than simply cleaned; something that has since been booked in with trades to do, as well as the other areas you highlighted. The owner wished for us to pass on his apologies that you arrived to these issues, and we also wanted to pass on reassurances that the company who maintain the fire alarm panel assured us that the system was still working, it was just warning that the backup battery was getting low. It was still functioning as it should and the company have been booked in to attend to it. You should not have arrived to these issues and we hope that with everything that was arranged and discussed with you at the time, you will feel reassured that your feedback has been taken very seriously and is being acted upon. 15 Seaview Terrace is a fantastic property for a holiday in St Ives for a large party. There’s plenty of room inside, and fantastic space outside. It’s only a short walk to the centre of St Ives, but be aware there are some steep inclines and the house itself is on multiple levels. Parking at the front is clearly an issue with neighbours, but there’s good space for parking of the rear. The views of St Ives from the property are stunning.

Thank you for leaving a review. It is a great property for a get together with ample room, inside and out. You do have a bit of an uphill walk to get back to the property at the end of a day exploring the beaches or the many unique shops, cafes, restaurants, and galleries; but we hope you agree it was totally worth it for the view, and guaranteed parking. It also helps work off all the pasties, cream teas and ice creams which just must be tried while here, and remember, this side of the Tamar, it's jam first! Hope to see you again and all best wishes from the Customer Services Team

Our week at 15 Seaview Terrace has been super. With a group of 11 aged from 2 years to 70+, spanning 3 generations, the property offers plenty of space to enjoy each other's company or to find a little peace and quiet to do your own thing. The bedroom at the front with it's super views across St Ives is an ideal haven for Grandma and Grandad for a few minutes respite from the younger family members. In the garden the slide and hot tub proved very popular with all family members. All the beaches and the town are within easy walking distance and the walk back up the hill becomes easier the more you do it!

This is a lovely house with stunning views over St Ives Harbour from the dining room, master bedroom & one other bedroom. The 2 living rooms and 5 bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable with lovely decor. The garden was a big bonus - private, with a mix of sun & shade at all times of the daytime. Ideal for a large family or a group of friends (sleeps 10). The kitchen was great - well equipped and contained everything we needed. The only reservation is that being located on a hill and across 3 floors there are lots of steps, so this is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to recommend this house as a great base for a perfect holiday in Cornwall.

Aspects are a professional company with excellent customer service which helped make our holiday a memorable one. Their service was second to none and helped us find a great property at short notice.

The house was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The views were amazing and overlooked the harbour and beyond. The location is great - just a short walk into the town down centre. A great place to stay.
