9 Piazza is a ground floor apartment within an iconic 1960s building on Porthmeor beach, with breathtaking sea views from the sitting room and large balcony. Access to the beach is by private entrance next to the apartment. 9 Piazza combines vintage 60s styling with innovative, locally made furniture by an award winning Cornish design studio.

Home to a number of distinguished St Ives artists past and present, Piazza is situated next door to St Ives School of Painting and Porthmeor Artists Studios and only 100 yards from the Tate Gallery and Porthmeor Cafe Bar. WORKS NOTICE- Please note essential works to the communal areas of Piazza will be taking place from 6th November to 24th November. Please ask Bookings if you require further info before booking.

off living area, full width sheltered balcony overlooking the beach with patio furniture. Well stocked beach room with beach chairs and equipment, a freezer and storage space.

fixed rain head shower and handheld shower, illuminated mirror, shaver socket, WC.

double bed with Tempur Cloud 22cm memory foam mattress. Full width courtyard window with slatted wooden blinds. Fitted double mirrored wardrobe.

Additional information

underground secure parking for one car, easy access to both apartment and beach, access is via a steep slope, space size (approx) 15ft deep x 7ft wide x 6ft 6" high, not suitable for wheelchairs, 'built in' bed 6' 3" in length from head to footboard, laundry facilities on site, welcome hamper, hairdryer, underfloor heating in all rooms, regrettably no children under 8 years, WiFi, short breaks available.

The Tate is a must; something everyone should visit at least once, or simply relax and enjoy the view from one of our many self-catering beach-front apartments. Most of the town and all it has to offer is a level walk from Porthmeor, making it many of our guests' first choice of location. Many Porthmeor properties offer parking and most have superb beach views and balconies.

Local events

St Ives Feast Day

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.
