A cosy retreat for two, 19 Teetotal Street is snuggled away in the quiet back roads of Downalong, the perfect, central location for exploring the bustling town of St Ives. As you step inside this delightful ground floor apartment, you will be greeted by the open-plan living area, which is attractively furnished in restful tones. There is a well-equipped kitchen, where you can rustle up culinary delights, or enjoy a lazy brunch of freshly baked treats from St Ives Bakery. You then move through to the comfortably appointed bedroom and on to the contemporary shower room. Outside the property you will find a small, but perfectly formed, enclosed courtyard, complete with bistro table and chairs, and a tap to wash off sandy toes and wetsuits after a day spent on the beach.
Positioned at the end of a terrace of granite fisherman’s cottages, you are only moments away from the vibrant harbour front, alongside Porthgwidden Beach and the three other fabulous beaches that St Ives boasts. You do not have to stroll far to kick back and relax. With the Tate Gallery and numerous independent galleries, shops, pubs, and restaurants right on your doorstep, and magical walks along the stunning South West Coast Path, this welcoming and stylish bolthole is just the ticket for two!

Another fabulous week at No 19 Teetotal Street. Perfect cottage for two people with plenty of space. Love the location which is so quiet and very near our favourite beach - Porthgwidden. Very impressed with the kitchen equipment and the cooker - top quality - and everything is catered for. We would certainly recommend this cottage.

We are pleased we found 19 Teetotal Street, great location and accessible very short stroll to the harbour and shops. It was like home from home with a well equipped kitchen and we have booked again for 2027

We enjoyed our stay at 19 Teetotal Street the cottage was in an ideal location in-between the harbour and Porth Gwidden beach the kitchen was lovely and well equipped, it had a lovely comfortable king-size bed with a small wardrobe with shelves the shower room was small but adequate We parked the car at the rugby club.

19 Teetotal Street is a perfect place to stay for a couple, nice quiet street but close to everything you will need e.g beaches, shopping and good places to eat out. The kitchen is well stocked if you prefer to prepare meals yourself. We parked at the Rugby club and would do so again, catch the number 10 bus (Porthmeor beach) if you do not fancy the steep climb up there, lovely walk down though.

I stayed in this cottage 3 years ago when it was with a different holiday company. Must say the refurbishment of the property since I last stayed has been amazing and is a real home-from-home. The location of this property is excellent and within 5 minutes walk of the harbour and the island and all the beaches. Quiet location at night so if you want to stay close to all the amenities but away from the noise, then this property is for you! Fabulous property, can't wait to return!
