We had a super time in St Ives. 20 Carthew Court is in a great location to the beach / town centre / to travel around Cornwall easily. The house is well equipped and spacious. Would recommend this place and would certainly come back.

Parking in Barnoon

Properties in Barnoon/Carthew are fantastic for those bringing a car to St Ives. Three quarters of our properties here come with private parking and there is opportunity to use the Barnoon car park. Apartments such as those in the Carthew Court development are located in residential areas and have superb, elevated views.

Self catering in Barnoon

Although you are still well located between Porthmeor and the town, self catering in Barnoon/Carthew allows you a lot more room to relax, with amenities such as WiFi and luxuries like sea views. Walk down the hill in one direction and you can visit the Tate and Porthmeor beach, or head right and you'll find yourself in the centre of town.

The location was excellent as far as seaviews are concerned but would not be so good for anyone with walking difficulties as the hill down into St Ives is very steep, although there is a carpark at the bottom of the hill where a space can be booked in advance and paid for over the phone. The apartment was well equiped and it comfortable. The balcony would be an added bonus in the summer.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider booking again.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as detailed on the advertising web site. Conveniently located for the town and beaches, the car parking is a must for St Ives. We would have booked for next year but it had already been taken prior to our visit.

Superbly located above Porthmeor beach. Peaceful , clean and superbly equipped with all you could need. The welcome pack provided was more than welcome and a very kind thought. Thank you. Parking close to the property was a godsend and essential when visiting St Ives in season. Everything you could need for a great holiday. Convenient location with sea views and your own parking space is a bonus with the limited parking facilities close by. The steep hill from Porthmeor Beach to the flat was trying at times but worthwhile when you take in the views from this area.

Lovely apartment has everything you need for your holiday. Is situated at the top of a fairly steep hill so you need to be quite fit to stay here. Parking space is a help as well.

20 Carthew Court was located in a nice quiet part of the town. It was nice and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower was good. The provided parking space was very handy and easy to use. The local residents were very friendly.

From my first contact with Aspects Holiday, everything went very smoothly. They handled all of my questions promptly and professionally, and nothing was too much bother, I would highly recommend them. The accommodation was just as described on their website, and I couldn’t fault anything.

Great location with fantastic sea views

Another happy stay in Carthew Court. We love the location and the designated parking space. Porthmoer beach is lovely, plenty of opportunities for body boarding and sandcastles building, and the cafe is a cut above the average beach fare with salads, quiches and all sorts of healthy additions. This year we visited Penlee Park open air theatre, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Cornwall Seal Sanctuary, and thoroughly enjoyed all three. We are already planning the next visit.

A nice little flat with great sea views. The hill can be a challenge coming back from the beach with 2 kids, a buggy and loads of beach stuff but we made it! The flat was well-equipped and it’s great to have a parking space in St.Ives in August.

We loved our stay here, it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and homely. With great views and only a short walk to the town and beach, even the walk back up the hill was absolutely fine. We will definitely stay here again ??

Great location not too far from either the beach or the town. Very steep hill coming back up though! Really peaceful away from the town. Appreciated the welcome pack left of tea, coffee etc and kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to do any cooking. Would not hesitate in recommending as a great place to stay for the week.

This was a lovely property in a fantastic quiet location. The views from the balcony are great and the parking space is a definite bonus in St Ives in August! Would book again.

Lovely place to stay. Lovely view from the living room and main bedroom. Good location for St Ives. 5 min walk to Porthmeor beach and not much further into the town. Clean and everything that you can think of in the kitchen that you may need is there. Very well equipped. Would def recommend staying here. Although if you have problems walking the hill back up from the beach may be difficult for you. All in all though a lovely property. Would def recommend

Very quiet location ideal for relaxing but also for being a short walk from either the coastal path or down to Porthmeor beach and the centre of St Ives.

The apartment provides everything you need. We love Carthew Court because it is only a short walk to the centre of St Ives and it has lovely sea views. The Carthew Court area is well maintained and clean and it is a very peaceful location.

Perfect location for easy access to seeing other areas in Cornwall without having to go through the middle of the town and only being a few minutes walk into St Ives. Quite a steep walk back up but you soon get used to it. It means you can have extra ice creams, cream teas and pasties!

It was our first visit to cornwall and enjoyed it very much a parking space was a bonus at carthew court

Comfy modern accommodation in walking distance of Porthmeor and with benefit of easy parking. We had a great week.
