This cottage does not meet the standard we expected from the pictures on the website in respect of equipment, furniture or facilities. This cottage does not represent value for money. Compared to other cottages I have stayed in it is way overpriced.

We are really sorry to hear that this property did not meet all of your expectations. We really do take guests comments very seriously and would always want to ensure that your expectations are met, if not exceeded. This property had met all required standards on the last inspection, and we felt that it had been priced accordingly, taking into account many factors such as the fantastic convenient location, stunning views, availability of parking etc. But a lot can change in a short space of time, so we will of course check on your comments, as we do not want anyone else to feel disappointed. We have already spoken to the housekeeper to check on the amount of crockery, and check the wardrobe handles. We have also asked that a note is added to the dish with the fob in it for the parking, so as to advise that the fob should be kept on you at all times. We try to make that clear on the arrival information, but we hope that this will help avoid any future confusion. We will monitor your comments about the neighbours that kept parking motorbikes in the alley way; it's not something that has been highlighted to us before, so we are hoping that it was a bit of a one-off. Thank you for making us aware. We hope that despite your disappointment, you still enjoyed your time in Falmouth and thank you again for letting us know your thoughts. Tanya, Customer Services
Lovely homely cottage centrally located, with excellent views.
Mrs Bishop September 2017
A cottage with a fabulous view, a lovely family feel & a gigantic bed & powerful hot showers. We loved our stay here.
Mrs Parry October 2016
Sea View Cottage is a beautiful and quirky house in a fantastic location. It is right in the middle of town but tucked away so very quiet. The views are amazing from the majority of the windows. Given the location of the cottage, provision of a parking space is a real bonus. Inside the cottage is warm and comfortable. Everything was provided including a welcome pack of tea, milk etc. Very comfortable beds and good bathrooms. We can't wait to return.
Mrs Bills October 2016

We always aim to be open and honest and welcome constructive comments from guests. It is such a shame that we didn't know about these problems during your stay, as we would have done our upmost to put things right for you at the time. Having spoken with you since your departure to hear that someone had left alot of dog mess in the access area to this cottage, as well as some rubbish; we understand why you didn't feel that it was a nice welcome to your holiday cottage! The alleyway is, as you mention, not very well lit and we now include in our property information, the suggestion to bring a torch to help with this. The housekeeper will keep us notified if anything like this occurs again. Thank you for bringing it to our attention and for taking the time to send in your comments. Tanya, Customer Services.
