On arrival at the Porthole we were absolutely amazed! The whole apartment was immaculate, spotlessly clean and everything we could have needed was provided for us. The layout was excellent with a fantastic mezzanine lounge, spacious bedrooms and a superb kitchen. We lived our week's stay in total luxury and never wanted to leave. The Porthole would have made us our perfect forever home. If only..... !!

Great apartment, with everything you need and a fabulous location. Might want to take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, as it was very noisy in the late evenings from rowdy youngsters and from early in the morning with the seagulls (way before sunrise!), delivery and cleaning vehicles. But, we still had a fabulous time, it certainly didn't put us off and we would definitely stay again. Apartment is also called 'Channel View Flats' outside which confused me, but it is located right next door to the estate agents and has a Porthole window funnily enough! :) Mrs Payne Aug 2022

Fabulous apartment and would definitely recommend. Very modern and clean, and location is great. We stayed here with my 16 year old son and his friend, and there was plenty of room. The living room area is a lovely space, cosy and sociable.
Noise outside is a bit of a problem but to be expected. I have suggested a fan in both bedrooms as we had to keep the windows shut overnight to keep the noise out. It did get a bit hot and stuffy.
Overall a great apartment which I would book again.

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed this beautiful property. The Porthole is situated just a stroll from everything that St Ives has to offer, making it a very popular location for anyone wanting to be so close to it all, and wanting to avoid those dreaded hills! Being so close to all the restaurants, cafes, beaches and just off one of the main roads in St Ives, you can sometimes hear associated noise. Though it is a slow-moving road and once inside, we hope that you agreed, is a lovely relaxing environment to enjoy your break in this beautiful and popular town. Tanya, Customer Services.
