A really spacious cottage in a superb location. Comfy sofa which you can spend hours on just staring at the perfect view of the beach and harbour. The upper bedroom view was also amazing. We loved it so much we will be returning next year.

WHAT A VIEW! such a lovely property, nice space for the family and everything you need. Yes it was a tad noisy but only at the weekend and where in the center isn't? We actually were happy to know it wasn't just our children making some noise for once! Would definitely come back!

Pier View is a fantastic place to stay. All equipment and amenities provided were excellent. It is right opposite a pub so it was quite noisy on the Saturday night but it is right on the main street through St Ives so this is only to be expected. It certainly won't stop any of us trying to book this accommodation again. All round, absolutely no complaints or issues with the accommodation or the service provided by Aspects Holidays.

Thank you for your feedback, we are so pleased to hear you enjoyed Pier View. As you rightly mentioned the property is situated in the heart of Fore Street, so you will hear the noise associated with nearby restaurants and bars. We are glad to hear that the pub emptying on a Saturday night wasn't a problem for you! We hope you agree, it is a small compromise for such a fantastic location. Lucy, Customer Services

Pier view was perfect for our visit to st ives, local to all shops and harbour lovely accommodation

Would not recommend this cottage. Too noisy and far too expensive for what you expect in a prime location.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Pier View will not suit everyone, being in the heart of it all, within the hustle and bustle of the town; but for others, the location is perfect and the associated noise from being right there on Fore Street and just steps from the beach, not a bother. We try to make this as clear as we can on the description so that guests can make an informed decision on its suitability, so we are sorry if this was not what you had expected. The pricing is done to reflect many factors including location, size, facilities available, views and so on, and generally kept in line with other similar properties in that location, with those facilities; but we will certainly pass on your feedback to the property owners, for their consideration. We do hope that you still had a nice time here in St Ives. Tanya, Customer Services

Lovely property in the best location, it has everything you need for a relaxing stay with a fantastic view ! .We will be back .

Absolutely loved the view from the living room. It was well equipped without being cluttered. There were drying racks, a hoover etc in the little cupboards. The washing machine is also a dryer which was a bonus as that wasn’t listed. The heaters were super simple to use and very effective. It’s location was very central and handy. The fact that our dog could join us was lovely too. We would definitely book again. One downside you need to be aware of is the noise from the pubs opposite. Not a problem for us as we know the area and were expecting it but it could make or break it for some. It did go quiet around 12/1am which was ok.

We are glad that you enjoyed this fantastic property. You will hear some noise associated with this central location, so we detail this as best as possible within the website description, as we appreciate that this may not be for some. But if you want to be able to step out the door and be right in the heart of the atmosphere of this lovely town, and not have to worry about a car, or walking too far to get anywhere; you certainly don't get much better than this! We are glad that you enjoyed it. Tanya, Customer Services

A lovely central location. The property is situated near several bars and restaurants, on the nights live music is played it can be quite noisy. But it wasn’t unbearable and didn’t prevent sleep. The accommodation its self was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It could benefit from a few extra kitchen bits to accommodate self catering. Beds were comfy and little added extras like games and welcome treats greatly appreciated. A great place to stay .

Lovely place to stay, amazing views over the harbour. Central location. Well furnished and comfortable beds.

Pier View is a lovely flat in a very good position for the town and harbour. Very well equipped lovely kitchen and bathroom. Very comfy beds. Beautiful views from the lounge and top bedroom.

Pier View is an excellent place to stay. It is very well equipped with good equipment and comfortable beds. It was nice to step out of the door into the great atmosphere of Fore Street. We would definitely go there again.

Very adequate accommodation in outstanding location. Very clean. Very private. Comfortable furniture and beds. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Be aware that the floor is very wonky especially in the lounge but the view out of the huge windows makes up for that.

If you have a nervous dog then this might not be the place for you, ours hated the crashing of bottles being trashed. It is very noisy at closing time for about an hour.

We come to St Ives every year and this is the first time using Aspects, we will definitely be using them again.

Overall fabulous property, would recommend

Thanks for your feedback. Some of the older properties in St Ives have some very quirky layouts and interesting characteristics, including a few wonky floors. They certainly built things a little differently back then, but that is part of the charm of staying in places like this! We are glad to hear how much you liked it, though sorry to hear that your dog had sometimes been upset at some of the noises that you can hear from time to time by being in such an amazing, bustling, central location. We are glad that this has not put you off, and we hope to see you back again one day. Tanya, Customer Services

Great sized house, well equipped and comfy. You can spend hours looking at the view. The pub noise at night is loud though so take earplugs if you want to be asleep before midnight. It’s just the reality of the location. There is a big entrance corridor that’s great for storing your beach stuff and surfboard ????

Being in this amazing location, right in the heart of the popular and beautiful St Ives, you will hear noise that would be typical of anywhere that is right in the heart of it all. It is well worth it for thise who want to be just minutes from all that the town has to offer, including teh stunning beaches, as well as the bonus of those sea views. We are glad that you enjoyed it. Tanya, Customer Services

A lovely week in early November at Pier View.

Views are fantastic, sofas comfortable and generally a very homely place.

One downside is the location with both Castle and Union inn pubs opposite. The former open until very late in the evening at weekends, and the noise kept us awake on 2/3 occasions.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry if it was a little noisier than expected. Whilst this property is in a central location and associated noise will sometimes be heard, as detailed within the property description; feedback specifically associated with late night noise from the pub has only been a recent thing. We will continue to monitor this to see if it changes and consider if we need to add something further to the website description. Thank you for your helpful comments and we hope that you still enjoyed this fantastic property. Tanya, Customer Services

Great location in town centre. House has everything you need. Beds comfortable.

Good location and best suited to one family due to just 1 bathroom. Not really suitable with young children due to the noise from one of the pubs opposite.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Being in such a fantastic central location there is the risk of hearing noise associated with being in close proximity to all the amazing shops, restaurants, pubs and general hustle and bustle of all the passers-by meandering around between these and the 5 stunning beaches. We try to make this as clear as possible on the description, as we appreciate that this may not be for everyone. Some parties with young children will be very used to a little noise and not at all affected, whilst others may be very used to sleeping in a very quiet location, so it is something worth bearing in mind. We will continue to monitor further feedback in case we need to make the noise risk any clearer. We hope that it was ok for you, and you enjoyed your time here. Tanya, Customer Services

This is a beautiful house and well equipped. The only downside is the noise from the extractor fans in the restaurants below on the harbour front. There are noises from fore street deliveries etc and at pub closing time but this wasn’t really an issue for us. As much as we lived the location and the house we wouldn’t stay again due to this reason.

We’ve booked many times with Aspects holidays and have always found the service they offer really good. So easy and straightforward. Better now with key safes at mist properties. Pier View is a fabulous place to stay. Our second time now. Not ideal if you’re unsteady on your feet as floors are uneven and quite a few little stairs but if you can cope I’d really recommend it.

We enjoyed our visit to Pier View. The views of the harbour and beyond are wonderful, whatever the weather, and its very central location makes it easy to access all that St Ives has to offer.

We had a lovely week in St Ives enjoying the sunshine most days and going for walks along the coast - so many beautiful places. The apartment was comfortable but would be very crowded with 6 people. Really appreciated the harbour view and the proximity to all the facilities of St Ives. The hassle of finding a parking space in the public car parks would probably preclude staying here again.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your review, we were delighted to see that you had such a fantastic time in St Ives, there really is so much to explore. Whilst this property comfortably sleeps 6, with 2 king size double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a fairly spacious bathroom; some may find the living room and kitchen a little more compact if you are used to something bigger. We hope that you agree though, that the amazing central location and those views make this property an absolutely brilliant base to enjoy and explore the town. With St Ives being a traditional fishing village, it was not designed with today's traffic in mind, so unfortunately many properties do not come with parking and the car parks can be in high demand at peaks times of the year, however, there are park and ride facilities and private parking options that the team would be happy to advise on if you are looking to return. Thanks for your helpful comments and we hope to see you back here in Cornwall soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Absolutely fantastic apartment. Well equipped kitchen, best I’ve ever seen. Beds very comfortable. Such a spacious apartment with lovely view of the harbour. Great location too Shower was great. Couldn’t find any faults with it. Service from Aspect brilliant. Great holiday.

Recommend Pier View for location and views.

Lovely property, in a great location with amazing views. Lots of room for a family, would book to stay here again!

Frantastic place to stay. Location fantastic Very clean Comfortable. Unloading and loading no problem.

Great location, excellent facilities, excellent view and comfortable when inside apartment. Rubbish dispose situation could look to be improved.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your feedback; we are glad to hear how much you enjoyed your stay. The rubbish disposal situation is something that we are working on at the moment, to hopefully improve the process and do more to help improve the currently restricted recycling opportunities for the properties that we manage within the town. Thanks again. Tanya, Customer Services

Pier View is a lovely clean property based off Fore Street, the central location means unloading on arrival can be difficult, and Friday / Saturday night there is some noise from the pubs opposite until around 11.30pm but apart from that the property is a joy to stay in.

It is very quirky based over 3 levels, the views of the harbour from the living room are lovely, the whole property has been renovated to a high standard, beds are exceptionally comfortable and it is one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in and we have been coming to St Ives for many years.

Great location and facility if you like a livelier base in the center of things.

Pier View was really comfortable and in a great location as long as you don't mind a little noise from time to time. Loved the views when looking out (it was easy enough to avoid looking down at the bins!) Would certainly consider staying here again and would recommend it to anyone able to easily manage the indoor stairs, which are well documented in the description. Lovely place!

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time at Pier View. With its fantastic location right between Fore Street and the harbour, you really do get the best of both worlds; amazing sea views and just a few steps from the lovely cobbled Fore Street, which is lined with nice restaurants, cafes and independent retailers. With it's fantastic location in the heart of St Ives, there is occasionally some associated noise from the restaurants and the volume of people in that location. We try to make this clear in the decsription, so we hope that it was just as you had expected. Tanya, Customer Services.

If you're looking for a central location at the heart of St.Ives, you enjoy your food, shopping, a few beers & easy access to the waterfront then Pier View is bang on.

Very comfortable, beautifully decorated and equipped and in a marvellously central spot with a very nice view from the living room ( provided you don't look down at the bins !)

Fantastic location, beautifully decorated & a wonderful base for a memorable holiday - highly reccomend!!
