This is a beautiful house and well equipped. The only downside is the noise from the extractor fans in the restaurants below on the harbour front. There are noises from fore street deliveries etc and at pub closing time but this wasn’t really an issue for us. As much as we lived the location and the house we wouldn’t stay again due to this reason.

Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.
So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.

A lovely week in early November at Pier View.
Views are fantastic, sofas comfortable and generally a very homely place.
One downside is the location with both Castle and Union inn pubs opposite. The former open until very late in the evening at weekends, and the noise kept us awake on 2/3 occasions.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry if it was a little noisier than expected. Whilst this property is in a central location and associated noise will sometimes be heard, as detailed within the property description; feedback specifically associated with late night noise from the pub has only been a recent thing. We will continue to monitor this to see if it changes and consider if we need to add something further to the website description. Thank you for your helpful comments and we hope that you still enjoyed this fantastic property. Tanya, Customer Services
Great location in town centre. House has everything you need. Beds comfortable.
Mrs Powell Sep 2021
Good location and best suited to one family due to just 1 bathroom. Not really suitable with young children due to the noise from one of the pubs opposite.

Being in such a fantastic central location there is the risk of hearing noise associated with being in close proximity to all the amazing shops, restaurants, pubs and general hustle and bustle of all the passers-by meandering around between these and the 5 stunning beaches. We try to make this as clear as possible on the description, as we appreciate that this may not be for everyone. Some parties with young children will be very used to a little noise and not at all affected, whilst others may be very used to sleeping in a very quiet location, so it is something worth bearing in mind. We will continue to monitor further feedback in case we need to make the noise risk any clearer. We hope that it was ok for you, and you enjoyed your time here. Tanya, Customer Services

We’ve booked many times with Aspects holidays and have always found the service they offer really good. So easy and straightforward. Better now with key safes at mist properties. Pier View is a fabulous place to stay. Our second time now. Not ideal if you’re unsteady on your feet as floors are uneven and quite a few little stairs but if you can cope I’d really recommend it.
Mrs Carter Jul 2021
We enjoyed our visit to Pier View. The views of the harbour and beyond are wonderful, whatever the weather, and its very central location makes it easy to access all that St Ives has to offer.
Mrs Jones Oct 2020
We had a lovely week in St Ives enjoying the sunshine most days and going for walks along the coast - so many beautiful places. The apartment was comfortable but would be very crowded with 6 people. Really appreciated the harbour view and the proximity to all the facilities of St Ives. The hassle of finding a parking space in the public car parks would probably preclude staying here again.

Thank you for your review, we were delighted to see that you had such a fantastic time in St Ives, there really is so much to explore. Whilst this property comfortably sleeps 6, with 2 king size double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a fairly spacious bathroom; some may find the living room and kitchen a little more compact if you are used to something bigger. We hope that you agree though, that the amazing central location and those views make this property an absolutely brilliant base to enjoy and explore the town. With St Ives being a traditional fishing village, it was not designed with today's traffic in mind, so unfortunately many properties do not come with parking and the car parks can be in high demand at peaks times of the year, however, there are park and ride facilities and private parking options that the team would be happy to advise on if you are looking to return. Thanks for your helpful comments and we hope to see you back here in Cornwall soon. Tanya, Customer Services
Absolutely fantastic apartment. Well equipped kitchen, best I’ve ever seen. Beds very comfortable. Such a spacious apartment with lovely view of the harbour. Great location too Shower was great. Couldn’t find any faults with it. Service from Aspect brilliant. Great holiday.

Thank you for your feedback; we are glad to hear how much you enjoyed your stay. The rubbish disposal situation is something that we are working on at the moment, to hopefully improve the process and do more to help improve the currently restricted recycling opportunities for the properties that we manage within the town. Thanks again. Tanya, Customer Services
Pier View is a lovely clean property based off Fore Street, the central location means unloading on arrival can be difficult, and Friday / Saturday night there is some noise from the pubs opposite until around 11.30pm but apart from that the property is a joy to stay in.
It is very quirky based over 3 levels, the views of the harbour from the living room are lovely, the whole property has been renovated to a high standard, beds are exceptionally comfortable and it is one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in and we have been coming to St Ives for many years.
Ms Young Jun 2019
Great location and facility if you like a livelier base in the center of things.
Mr Wright Sep 2018
Pier View was really comfortable and in a great location as long as you don't mind a little noise from time to time. Loved the views when looking out (it was easy enough to avoid looking down at the bins!) Would certainly consider staying here again and would recommend it to anyone able to easily manage the indoor stairs, which are well documented in the description. Lovely place!

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time at Pier View. With its fantastic location right between Fore Street and the harbour, you really do get the best of both worlds; amazing sea views and just a few steps from the lovely cobbled Fore Street, which is lined with nice restaurants, cafes and independent retailers. With it's fantastic location in the heart of St Ives, there is occasionally some associated noise from the restaurants and the volume of people in that location. We try to make this clear in the decsription, so we hope that it was just as you had expected. Tanya, Customer Services.
If you're looking for a central location at the heart of St.Ives, you enjoy your food, shopping, a few beers & easy access to the waterfront then Pier View is bang on.
Mr Tedd Aug 2018
Very comfortable, beautifully decorated and equipped and in a marvellously central spot with a very nice view from the living room ( provided you don't look down at the bins !)
Mrs Bennett Sep 2017
