We had an excellent stay at Lyonnesse, could not fault accommodation. The garden & conservatory are very handy for evening chill out. The house is well equipped throughout. The car parking space is a bonus as parking is not easy in St Ives. Beware the town/beach are all down hill from the house, you may find the less mobile find coming back home hard work.

My sister and I had a lovely stay in Lyonnesse. In a great location for exploring the wider area of St. Ives. Well equipped kitchen, comfy living spaces and bedrooms. No complaints with this property and will hopefully be back. Tina & Karen (Doncaster)

Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.
So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.

This was a lovely house in a location that suited us, however, for anyone that would want to be nearer the town and beaches probably not for them. The house was well furnished and the conservatory is a lovely bonus giving extra living space. The kitchen was well equipped, although a double oven, or separate grill would have been useful for us. Altogether a beautiful property that we would be more than happy to return too, and to recommend to family and friends.

This is one of the best properties that we have stayed at anywhere in Cornwall - very well equipped, quiet and just like home from home!

Mrs Griffiths Dec 2017
Beautiful newish modern town house. Well equipped, quality finishes and extremely clean. Lovely enclosed little garden. Distant sea views from 2 bedrooms. Good location but for anyone who knows St Ives there are very steep hills from town centre up to house. Not suitable if you have mobility problems, otherwise can highly recommend it.
Mrs Harris Oct 2017
I would thoroughly recommend this cottage/house to anyone. The accommodation is spacious and plentiful and very tastefully decorated. The provision of utensils, pots, pans etc. in the kitchen is one of the best in a rented cottage I have ever seen. The cottage is just of the town centre and is in a quiet location, he only disadvantage being the climb up the hill from the town.
