We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Harmony Cottage and would highly recommend staying. It has everything you could want; upon arrival there was tea, fresh coffee, milk and a couple of mince pies from the local bakers, which was a nice welcome. Overall the place is well equipped, even champagne flutes which we used on New Years Eve! It has a cosy, homely feel that's great when you return from a day out walking or exploring. The only issue we had was initially finding the cottage, the SatNav got a bit confused, as we did and then unloading the car. You cannot park outside the cottage (the same with most places in St Ives!) so we had to park on double yellow lines at the end of the passage and unload as quickly as possible and then find a car park. We laughed about it after, but at the time it was a bit stressful after a 5 hour journey! We love St Ives and would definitely book the cottage again for our next stay.

Both myself and my partner have just returned from staying at Harmony Cottage, what can I say other than location, location, location. The cottage is furnished to a high standard and in character to the property, comfortable stay with all the homely requirements needed. The cottage is located minutes from the town, harbour and beach which is ideal for walking and exploring without the use of a car. Correspondence with the owner prior to our visit cannot be faulted with recommendations for parking, restaurants etc and the added bonus of scones and tea on arrival was very much appreciated. Would I recommend the cottage Yes without hesitation, would I return Yes. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

St Ives Town

Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.

So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.
