Harmony Cottage St Ives Town

Harmony Cottage is a traditional Cornish cottage, believed to have been built in the late 1800's. The property was renovated in 2013 to a very high standard, whilst retaining many original features, including the granite walls, beamed ceilings and slate features in the windows. The cottage is extremely cute and cosy and the owners have taken much care in creating a special home from home for you to enjoy. From the front door you can be on the harbour front within an easy five minute stroll and you are close to all amenities including beaches, shops and restaurants. The cottage really is ideal at any time of year, as a romantic retreat for two or family holiday to remember.

You walk into Harmony Cottage, and you walk into a home. We have both fallen in love with the place! This beautiful cottage is stunningly furnished - a real cosy hideaway. A few moments stroll from the heart of the town and the harbour; it really is in a brilliant location. St Ive's is such a special place and so to is Harmony Cottage. We can't wait to come back!

Tom & Rachel

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Harmony Cottage and would highly recommend staying. It has everything you could want; upon arrival there was tea, fresh coffee, milk and a couple of mince pies from the local bakers, which was a nice welcome. Overall the place is well equipped, even champagne flutes which we used on New Years Eve! It has a cosy, homely feel that's great when you return from a day out walking or exploring. The only issue we had was initially finding the cottage, the SatNav got a bit confused, as we did and then unloading the car. You cannot park outside the cottage (the same with most places in St Ives!) so we had to park on double yellow lines at the end of the passage and unload as quickly as possible and then find a car park. We laughed about it after, but at the time it was a bit stressful after a 5 hour journey! We love St Ives and would definitely book the cottage again for our next stay.

St Ives Town

Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.

So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.
