We enjoyed this cosy, beautifully designed cottage, which is so close to the action, but still quiet. Immaculately clean with comfortable beds. It's mostly well-equipped (but could do with a clothes rail - nowhere for wet clothes!). The "courtyard" is a small dark alley at the back, so don't expect somewhere to sit, or even to dry a towel. However it is useful for stashing a wet wetsuit and surfboard. Luxurious having 3 tvs in such a small house! Enjoyed the view of Barbara Hepworth's Garden wall, and lighthouse in the distance. Handy for the cute Little Palais cocktail bar. Appreciated the good quality bluetooth speaker and lovely shower.

Many of our larger town houses are situated just a couple of minutes’ walk from the centre and these offer ideal family accommodation, many with gardens, something of a rarity in St Ives. If all that shopping and socialising gets too much, you can always get away from it all and relax in the tranquil setting of Trewyn Gardens, a real little haven, tucked away in the heart of the town.
So, for self catering holidays in St Ives with everything on your doorstep, the town is the place to be.

We know how important honest reviews are when it comes to booking your holiday. To help you choose the right property for you, we publish all reviews left by guests who have stayed here in the past, with the few exceptions stated in our Review Guidelines. Please bear in mind that some facilities referred to by past guests in reviews can be removed or changed at any time.
Please note this is a lovely cottage which is sadly let down by damp and a poor cleaning routine.

We were so sorry to read your feedback and had we been aware of your concerns at the time, we would have done everything that we could to help and rectify any areas of concern. There had been no previous history of damp at this property, though the nature of the building materials commonly used here in Cornwall and being so close to the sea, can mean that some properties are more susceptible to occasionally experiencing damp, particularly if they have not been kept well ventilated. We will have a look into this and discuss it with the property owners and housekeeper. Thank you for making us aware. Tanya, Customer Services
