As a family of 4 with a dog, we had a lovely week stay at 10 Ayr Lane. Clean and comfortable and in a great location to enjoy St Ives. We would use again.

Easy to use with clear photographs.

Fabulous little cottage in an excellent location with the gift of a parking space, a walk up the hill. Well equipped and cosy. Excellent service as always from Aspects. Highly recommend both 10 Ayr Lane and Aspects.

Great location always enjoy our stay :)

A lovely little cottage situated in Stives locally to the shops and beaches. Really cosy and clean and homely. We would stay again if we had the chance.

Brilliant location in a quiet part of town.

Just had a wonderful Easter break at 10 Ayr lane with my family. Can’t fault this property, beautifully presented, clean, comfy beds and in a great location. Dropping our luggage off was easy enough at the top of the hill and we didn’t take our SUV down the lane as suggested. Would definitely stay at this delightful property again x

Perfect for couples or small families, excellent central location, good value.

Great location and a great little property.

Unfortunately the property has some damp and mould issues, Aspect delivered a dehumidifier to us but unfortunately our possessions ended up smelling. We have highlighted this to aspect and I'm sure it will be getting rectified!

Apart from that we had a lovely stay in St Ives.

Thank you for your feedback and for getting in touch at the time of your stay to make us aware of a damp smell at 10 Ayr Lane. Here in Cornwall, we are very open to the elements and can experience warm and humid conditions, which can make older properties susceptible to condensation or a slight damp smell. We find that airing the property can really help with this and lessen any smells within a few days, but we are pleased you let us know so we could provide a dehumidifier straight away. We hope we can welcome you back to Cornwall again soon. Katy, Customer Services.

Great location for all St Ives has to offer

Lovely service. You have a can do approach. Cottage is lovely and cozy Just right for a family of 3 Great proximity to St Ives. A stones throw away.

Lovely little cottage type property, close to town centre, but still quiet. It's on quite a steep hill so people with mobility issues my struggle.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are glad to hear you liked 10 Ayr Lane. As you mentioned, there is a slightly uphill walk to get back to the property after a day out exploring St Ives. This walk may not suit everyone, so some may prefer to opt for a taxi ride if you don't fancy walking. Thank you again and we hope you enjoyed your time in St Ives. Lucy, Customer Services

Very easy to book and good price and a fantastic location

Lovely little property incredibly close to all St Ives has to offer but just far enough away to not be too noisy.

Cute little cottage. Perfect location, quiet but so close to everything. Will be booking this again next time we go!

Excellent property , great location for all beaches and town. In comparison to other properties extremely good value for money. Would certainly recommend and be returning

We had a lovely holiday staying at 10 Ayr Lane location was fab, parking space was great and unloading was ok, the fridge is a good size shower great and the place itself is really lovely the only issue we found was the clothes storage as there wasn’t enough room for all our clothes but we managed and we would definitely stay again see you soon st Ives x

We had a wonderful stay at Ayr Lane we loved the location and the parking space, we struggled a little with storage for our clothes but the cottage is lovely and was perfect for our holiday we will be back thank you ??

Extremely clean place in an ideal location. A few steps away from the main hustle and bustle but extremely quiet in the evenings/night time. We had booked with our dog and on arrival there was a dog bowl and a packet of dog treats which was a nice touch. The beds were very comfy and most importantly clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower was powerful. We would definitely stay again.

Well presented cottage, good facilities. Close enough to the hustle & bustle of St Ives but also far enough away not to disturb you.

Lovely cottage. Has everything you need. Quality decor and very comfortable. Had a great week.

Please be aware that the parking space is at the top of stives ….you definitely need to be fit as a fiddle to get up to it….impossible with luggage or small children!

Only go down Ayr lane if you have a small car…unfortunately saw a couple of scrapes whilst we visited.

We are glad that you enjoyed this lovely property. We try to make the parking arrangements clear on the website, as it may be something guests will want to look into/plan before arrival. With the location of it away from the property, it is a bit of a walk, but for those wanting to just stay in St Ives and not want the stress of finding somewhere for their car all week, with parking being in very short supply here; this works particularly well. There is a shuttle bus service available in peak weeks and local taxis throughout the year, so there are options should you not want to walk between the property and the allocated parking. Tanya, Customer Services

We loved our stay in this cosy cottage. The location was fantastic and we loved the log burner! So nice to arrive and have milk, biscuits, tea and coffee. Will be booking again.

Cottage lovely although small for 4 adults , ideally situated and close to amenities and beaches. Car park a good 20 min walk and all up hill. Elderly or unfit be aware. No shuttle service so we missed a lot of sightseeing as didn’t want a hike to our car. Road outside cottage very steep and narrow. Cottage about half way down the hill.

We are sorry if this wasn't what you had expected. With parking being in high demand in St Ives; having this facility included certainly helps to eliminate the stress of trying to find somewhere to park in the town, but it is away from the property and uphill from the town, so this is something worth bearing in mind. For those who plan to just relax in and explore St Ives, it is a great option. For those who want to explore further afield, there are several bus routes and of course the open top buses that are a great way of seeing the sights. For any tips and advice on this, please feel free to call or message us. We hope that you still had a great time here. Tanya, Customer Services

Lovely location. Just outside the huddle and bussle but also very central. Beautiful views over Barbara Hepworth’s garden. Very comfy beds and well equipped cottage. Bathroom being downstairs not a problem but needed to be aware of walking down the stairs first thing in the morning after a previous days walking up hills. Though that is because we live in a very flat Cambridgeshire!!

The parking at the Rugby club was secure and easy to find. We didn’t use the car the whole week so can’t comment on the walk back up as the other half did it and brought the car down to pack up on leaving.

Excellent service from Aspects as always.

Beautiful little cottage with everything we could have needed. Close to the harbour but surprisingly quiet. Wonderful holiday, thank you

This property is excellent for a stay close to everything but also quite and peaceful.

Another amazing year at 10 Ayr lane, great location, and St Ives never fails.

We found Aspect Holidays a pleasure to deal with and a hassle free, and I would happily recommend to anyone else wishing to use them. Looking forward to booking with you again on our next visit

This was our second stay at 10 Ayr Lane. Immaculately clean, very well equipped and great location. Would definitely recommend for a trip to St Ives!

Great position being next to the town but also far enough away to be quite Awkward to unload but worth the extra effort

Reply from Aspects Holidays

It is in a great location to easily stroll into town but without the same level of hustle and bustle as you get in the main streets within the centre, but it is a narrow road, so although those with smaller cars will be able to unload quickly outside the property, larger vehicles will not be able to get all the way down the road, so we would advise unloading at the end of the road or just heading straight to the allocated parking and grab yourself a taxi or bus down with your luggage. We are glad that you enjoyed your time there. Tanya, Customer Services

We had a lovely stay at 10 Ayr Lane (after our originally booked cottage became unavailable). This cottage was perfect for our weeks stay, had everything we needed and was a great location to access the shops, pubs, restaurants and beaches. We were thankful for the car park space provided as it’s saves buying a weeks space on the car parks, although be prepared for a good 15 min walk (some uphill). Would stay again.

Location of the cottage is fantastic. It was clean, plenty of towels. Tea, sugar and milk provided. This is on quite a steep hill and does have a number of steps so not great if you have mobility issues.

We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed the location of 10 Ayr Lane! As you mentioned, there is a slight hill to climb to get back to the property after a day of exploring, which may not suit everyone, but we hope you agree that it is worth it! With it being over two floors, it's not a property we would recommend for people with limited mobility, but our website does have to option to select 'accessible' properties when searching for somewhere to stay. Katy, Customer Service.

Great house in a great location. Value for money

Charming little cottage, great location, did the job perfectly

Stayed over Xmas in this fabulously located cottage, right in the centre of town, with easy access to everything St Ives has to offer. The cottage was warm and cosy, especially once the woodburner was lit. The allocated parking space was a bonus. There were a couple of issues with the property on arrival, but Aspects responded to these very quickly and the cottage's charm grew on us over the week. Please be aware if you stay over the festive period, the trimmings (or trimming as it turned out to be) is a bit lacklustre ??. Wouldn't hesitate to book with Aspects again.

Great property and location, would happily stay again.

10 Ayr Lane is a lovely, comfortable cottage in a great location really close to the centre of St Ives. It was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Having a dedicated parking space is a real bonus (it's a bit of a hike, but parking is at such a premium). I would definitely book again.

Aboustely amazing wk spent at 10 Ayr lane, location was perfect, had all the relevant things u need to make your stay comfortable, parking as well win win, st Ives has our ?.

Really enjoyed our stay at 10 Ayr Lane especially after being locked down and away from the sea and Cornwall in particular. Very well presented and fully equipped - to a high standard. Bright and airy inside although quite small. Plenty of room for 3 adults, one child and a baby - it was really lovely weather too. The car parking space was welcome although a trek ( Info did explain this clearly). We had a lovely time.

Please note this is a lovely cottage which is sadly let down by damp and a poor cleaning routine.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We were so sorry to read your feedback and had we been aware of your concerns at the time, we would have done everything that we could to help and rectify any areas of concern. There had been no previous history of damp at this property, though the nature of the building materials commonly used here in Cornwall and being so close to the sea, can mean that some properties are more susceptible to occasionally experiencing damp, particularly if they have not been kept well ventilated. We will have a look into this and discuss it with the property owners and housekeeper. Thank you for making us aware. Tanya, Customer Services

We enjoyed this cosy, beautifully designed cottage, which is so close to the action, but still quiet. Immaculately clean with comfortable beds. It's mostly well-equipped (but could do with a clothes rail - nowhere for wet clothes!). The "courtyard" is a small dark alley at the back, so don't expect somewhere to sit, or even to dry a towel. However it is useful for stashing a wet wetsuit and surfboard. Luxurious having 3 tvs in such a small house! Enjoyed the view of Barbara Hepworth's Garden wall, and lighthouse in the distance. Handy for the cute Little Palais cocktail bar. Appreciated the good quality bluetooth speaker and lovely shower.
