The sitting room is perfect for relaxing in, with your morning coffee, or after a day of exploring, catching up on your favourite shows. A ten minute walk downhill, will lead you to St Ives Harbour, where you can indulge in the many local restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops, you'll find plenty to do for all ages. Maybe take a boat trip out to Seal Island, or browse the latest art exhibition at the Tate Gallery.

The breahtaking, coastal branch-line from Porthminster , is one of the UK's most scenic train journeys, taking you to St Erth, where you can hop off and wander down to the family friendly, Old Quay House, for some lunch, overlooking Hayle causeway, or enjoy brunch at Birdies restaurant or The Old Forge.

Great location and what a view! You just need a good pair of walking shoes for the hills but they're manageable. St Ives is amazing and well worth a visit. Apartment was spotless and great interior furnishings, my husband loved the oven and qooker tap.

Great location and what a view! You just need a good pair of walking shoes for the hills but they're manageable. St Ives is amazing and well worth a visit. Apartment was spotless and great interior furnishings, my husband loved the oven and qooker tap.

The apartment was very comfortable and has stunning views, it was lovely to watch all that was going on around the harbour. Everything was spotless and it was very well equipped with everything that you needed for your stay. Perfect position for the beach or exploring St Ives itself. It was a bonus to have a parking place onsite too. The Welcome Pack was a nice touch to start the holiday, thank you.

We spent a wonderful 10 days in the apartment, the view is sensational. Everything you could possibly need, plus the gift of prosecco, scones, milk, tea and coffee. Hopefully will be booking in the warmer months and can have the doors to the balconies open. Absolutely sensational.

This was our second stay in this delightful location and was as wonderful as the first. With a designated, secure, parking spot, it was easy to come and go when we chose. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. It offers beautiful views across porthminster beach and St Ives harbour. There were welcome treats awaiting us and the Aspects team checked in the day after we arrived to make sure everything was ok. Highly recommended holiday let!

A fabulous apartment with some of the best views in St.Ives. Very comfortable with everything you might need and included parking onsite which is very rare. I would certainly book this apartment again.

The accommodation was spotless and fitted with top quality appliances even down to the simple things such as dishwasher tablets/teabags/sugar. The view was fantastic and the onsite parking was very welcome. The scones and Prosecco was a lovely welcome gesture. A very nice apartment and would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Gwel an Baya. This was our first time in Cornwall and Aspects Holidays provided great service. We would highly recommend them to anyone staying in Cornwall. We arrived a couple hours early and were allowed to check in ahead of our scheduled time which we greatly appreciated after a long drive. We had also been left some milk, a bottle of Prosecco and some scones, jam and cream which was a lovely surprise touch. The property was extremely clean and had all the equipment we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you and we will be back for many years to come!

A well furnished property with an amazing view over St Ives. Well equipped with comfy beds. However, if you have small children the bedroom is at the front of the property next to a busy road and the front door has a lock in reach of small fingers.

The apartment is beautifully designed and the views are outstanding. We were really delighted on arrival to discover the complementary prosecco, scones, jam and cream. We were also able to put the kettle on and settle in quickly as there was plenty of coffee, tea and milk provided - such a lovely touch that made the perfect start to our break. We are still talking about this with friends and family on our return home because it meant so much, particularly in the current economic climate. We also appreciated the designated parking with sensor lighting which provided added security when arriving back after dark. The apartment was easy to access, spotlessly clean and well maintained with matching decor and household items. All beautifully thought through. A real home-from-home apartment but with that essential holiday feel… We can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gwel an Baya. A great little apartment with fantastic views over the bay from lounge and main bedroom. The weather was very kind to us in mid November and we could enjoy all St Ives had to offer, particularly the cliff top walks and beaches. There are lots of very good restaurants in St. Ives such as Porthminster Kitchen and The Gurnards Head at Zennor. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed staying at Gwel an Baya very much, felt homely as soon as we arrived. Very nice modern building in an amazing location. The views of the beach are beautiful and you can hear the waves at night time if windows are open which is lovely and relaxing. Perfect place for me and my partners first holiday really enjoyed staying there and want to return.

Great location, beautiful view , a few issues, but would stay again,

Clean, spacious and a superb location. Parking space very handy. Had a great holiday - many thanks.

Amazing location and amazing views, well equipped with kitchen equipment. Iron, board, brush and hoover in the hallway cupboard and there is a hairdryer in the bedroom drawer too. Great to have the parking space. And only a little walk down to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Smaller walk to the nearest beach, with bar and restaurant too. Quite steep going up and down the path so take time. There are other ways to get to the beach though too. Only a small to medium drive away from lots of other tourist spots around cornwall out of St Ives. I don't really have any complaints or moans without it just me being picky and we would definitely stay here again.

Cracking location out of centre near train station (for ease of quick trip up to like of Carbis Bay) so easy to drive to other parts of Cornwall AND with the much needed parking space.

Amazing view across to St Ives harbour and lovely quality apartment on ground floor. Nice powerful shower and well equipped kitchen. 2 minutes walk to Porthminster beach and therefore v close to town centre albeit hill to contend with.

Very happy with service from Aspects when bath drain blocked - sorted same day. Great holiday.

Amazing views across St Ives Bay in a modern well equipped and tastfully furnished appartment.Cleaned to a high standard and good quality bath towels.Prime position for walking into either Carbis Bay or StIves town.Good size car parking space on site that is a bonus. After a week of walking up and down hills we left fitter than when we arrived.5 minutes to an amazing beach.

Perfect location to get to the beach and town short walks especially with children is great. Would return again.

Excellent accommodation with amazing views across the bay to St Ives.
Easy access into St Ives and quite a gentle walk back despite the hill back up to the apartment. Bonus of having a parking space as parking in St Ives is quite difficult during busy times.

Excellent place to stay.. It is as it appears in the brochure.. Fabulous views. The little extras are a lovely touch.. Very clean and comfortable. Easy access to St Ives walking down the hill. Cheap taxi back. Great to have a parking space. Would go back there again and again..

This holiday home is situated in a really great central location, with magnificent views of stunning Porthminster beach & St Ives. As parking is so very hard to find in St Ives, having parking available at this holiday home is fantastic, enabling you to just walk about without worrying about your car. It’s a very nice, comfortable and modern holiday home within short driving distance to Tesco for supplies or a short walk to meander around St Ives harbour, ice cream in hand. One afternoon, we even walked & caught a movie at the cinema in town…staying here at this home seems to put everything right at your fingertips. Super modern appliances in the lovely spacious kitchen. It was well worth the money spent which I thought was quite reasonable.
