Albany House is a grand Victorian House traditional in design, with restored original features and is situated overlooking Porthminster beach and just a five minute stroll into St Ives town. Magnificent views can be enjoyed from the kitchen/dining area and master bedroom. Front access is via a 50ft lawned area with a patio and to the rear is a landscaped garden with two terraces, both with seating and outdoor table tennis!

Parking for one large car at front of house and two smaller cars behind house accessible by narrow lane. Public pay and display car park is available 5 minutes walk away.

St Ives Feast Day

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.

The cottage has a fabulous warm and welcoming feel as you walk through the door. The views from the front windows are so captivating and relaxing it is hard to tear yourself away from the cottage to explore St Ives. The kitchen is so well equipped which makes it a pleasure to cook, and then dining looking out at the beautiful sea views is what a holiday is all about.

No1 Albany Tce is a lovely house set in peaceful location with views over porthminster beach. The house is very well equipped to cater for your needs. An easy downhill stroll takes you to the town centre either by road or via porthminster beach. With car parking for up to three cars nice gardens and pet friendly too Albany House is a lovely place to take your break

Albany House is full of light and spacious so ideal for a group of friends and family. The views are great from the house and garden too. The garden , front and rear, are really lovely and give a feeling of space. We would like to visit again. The owners thoughtfully kitted it out .

The house is really spacious and the kitchen/dining room is the perfect place for everyone to hang out. If you are lucky with the weather as we were the garden is an excellent bonus, a beautiful sun trap with the added benefit of a table tennis table (very popular with our children). The view in the morning from the front of the house is something else. We loved everything about this house.

Albany House is a wonderful property, of large proportions with light flooding through it. There are many lovely touches to make the property feel like a home-from-home. The views of the sea are uplifting as are the sounds of the seagulls. We booked through Aspects Holidays, who were friendly and efficient from start to finish. Albany House is an ideal base for a holiday in St Ives. The size of the property, sea views and ease of access to beaches and town make it good value for money. An added benefit is the car parking, especially the large space at the bottom of the garden at the front. We hope to visit again soon!

Spacious and a great choice for a large family group or for two families to share; equally excellent for groups of friends. Perhaps not so good however if these groups had babies in push-chairs/prams or elderly/disabled members because of location and access.

There is a gravel path leading to the front door, which may be a little tricky to negotiate with prams/pushchairs, and being over 3 floors, with the painted stairs that we mention, and having a terraced garden to the rear that involves a number of steps to the different levels; it would be something that may need to be considered for certain members of the party. Albany House is the perfect base for a family holiday in St Ives. Lots of large, tastefully furnished and decorated rooms means theres plenty of space for everyone.The Children loved the outside shower and all have stated they want to come back next year.
