This is a lovely home from home apartment in St Ives, spacious & comfy beds & sofa's. Added bonus of central heating given the nights were cooler then average. Lovely welcome pack, ideal for after a long journey, can make a nice refreshing cuppa on arrival. Was very clean & freshly decorated. Garage was an added bonus & protected the car from the seagul's poop, our car fitted nicely (Duster '23 model) & is plenty of space to manoeuvre on site. Ideally located for St Ives, wonderful walks to the beach & into the town. Would love to come & stay again.

We had an enjoyable week at 5 Stone Court. Easy to walk into St Ives and beaches and restaurants providing you are reasonably fit.
Mrs Wills Jun 2023
Good value for money in a great location for all beaches
Mrs White Aug 2022
Great spot to stay. However a hike up to the property so need to be fit to walk up every day. Well equipped house and the parking spot is a real added bonus.
Mrs Tempest Jul 2022
We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location, just a few mins away from the centre of St Ives. The garage parking was really good and we left it there for the whole week with no worries.
Miss Davidson Nov 2021
The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was within walking distance to the town, restaurants and beach. We would highly recommend staying there and would stay there again
Mrs Tune Aug 2021
5 stones court was a wonderful stay. Well equipped and plenty of space. Easy reach to all of st Ives. Only small point that would be helpful is a washing line outside for drying clothes but outside space is wonderful
mrs ferguson Jul 2021
5 Stones court is well situated on Albert Road, just a short walk from the town. On site parking in underground secure garage. BMW 320 touring fitted perfectly. Clean towels, bed linen and a small welcome pack on our arrival. The garden is enclosed but does have a nice but limited sea view.
Mr Evans May 2021
Good location for walking into town and beaches. Apartment comfortable but upper double bedroom mattress isn’t and needs replacing. Other mattresses are similar.
Mr Brown May 2021
The upstairs bedroom with on suite was lovely and the bathroom downstairs was very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. It was very clean on arrival. It has a little garden on the back but again not very child friendly. The property is situated at the top of the hill not very good if you've got a pram trying to get to the beach is a hassle. The issues we had was with the property itself. It's no good for families. Especially with very small children like myself. There's no doors in the property only on the bathroom and bedrooms. The door at the bottom of the stairs has been removed so there's no way of stopping children climbing the stairs unless you want to live with a coffee table in the way all the time. There is a stair gate at the top of the stairs which doesn't do much as the bedroom at the top of the stairs has 2 single beds in and one of the single beds is placed next to the banister. If you have a toddler or small child they can easily climb on the bed and fall over the railing straight down the stairs. The beds were very uncomfortable. The neighbour down stairs is a pain. As soon as you make any bit of noise she's banging on the ceiling. She scared my little boy to death on one occasion. My children are far from boisterous so she wants to think herself lucky she didn't have much worse. This property would be great for couples or people with older children.

We are sorry to hear that this property did not work for you and your family. We try to offer a wide variety of properties that will meet the very different needs, tastes and budgets of individuals and try to show and describe the layouts as clearly as we can within the website photos and descriptions; so, if this was not as you were expecting, we are very sorry. We would like to reassure you that we have never had any prior feedback or issues with the neighbour downstairs. That sounds very out of character for her, but we can completely understand how having someone knocking on the ceiling at you all the time, will make you feel very conscious and wary, and can stop you from feeling like you can fully enjoy and relax in your holiday accommodation. We will bring this to the owner's attention and monitor the situation for now, so thank you for making us aware. We will also pass on your comments about the suitability for young children and suggestions of how this may be improved, and as soon as we can get into the property to have a look, we will do that, and pass on our thoughts and suggestions to the owner as well. 5 Stones Court is an excellent base in St. Ives, (despite the hill) a relaxing walk to the town centre and also avoids traffic and parking issues by having dedicated space and is quickly on the main road to explore other parts of Cornwall.
Mr Lee Aug 2020
A lovely property , bright and airy , with a small outdoor space ....Great for a small family
Mrs MacDonald Aug 2020
Close to beach. A dated property in need of some TLC and a good clean. Very limited wardrobe space we ended up using the dining room table. Has outdoor space with four helpful pegs for putting out your washing.

Thank you for your comments. We have since been in touch so that we could address your concerns more fully, and a full inspection of the property has now taken place. After a very busy season, there were certainly areas that needed addressing, but we are pleased to report that the owners have confirmed that they have attended to the outdoor area, removed outdated leaflets, attended to the washing machine seal and the hob, replaced glassware, and have booked in full carpet cleans within the apartment and painting. Again, we are very sorry that there were areas not up to the high standards that you would expect from properties that we market, but we hope that you can see that ourselves and the property owners do take all feedback on board. Tanya, Customer Services
The apartment was beautiful lovely and comfortable had everything we needed for our family of 4 it was great to have a patio area to sit out on. It made our stay perfect with easy access to St Ives and Portminster beach, which is beautiful. The only negative thing I can say is the downstairs garage is very limited in space and was a real struggle to manoeuvre in and out it didn’t help as there was a tumble dryer at the end of the garage which restricts space. I have a Vauxhall Insigna Estate and it was difficult getting in and out of the garage. I would say anything above a Ford Focus Estate would have the same problem in manoeuvring into the garage.

Thank you for taking the time to send in your review. We are glad that you enjoyed 5 Stones Court; it certainly sounds like you had a lovely time! We are sorry to hear that the garage space wasn't quite what you expected though. We include the measurements on the website and highlight the use of the garage for storing the tumble drier, so that you can ensure that your vehicle will be able to fit, allowing for space to get into and out of the car. We will double check all measurements when we are there next and keep an eye out for any further feedback in case we need to make this any clearer. Thank you again and we hope to see you back soon. Lovely accommodation. Great location. Wonderful views of the harbour from the upstairs shower room too. Outside space a bonus as well as off road parking.
Mrs Morton Jul 2019
This is an excellent property, well equipped and ideally located for all the beaches and access into the town. I would recommend this property and look forward to staying there again myself soon.
Mrs Sidwell Jul 2018
Apart from 1 or 2 little niggles(as mentioned above), 5 Stones Court was lovely. The beds were very comfortable as were the sofas in the lounge. There was plenty of room for us(4 adults & 1 toddler). It was well furnished, clean & bright too.
Mrs Mann Jun 2018
View from the ensuite window was stunning
Mr Youle Jan 2018
As it sleeps 6 and we were only there for a week we managed to cope with the lack of wardrobes and drying facilities but I would not stay here for any longer period than 1 week

We understand why the amount of storage can be an important consideration, especially if you are here for longer periods. The owners have fit in storage where they can within the property, but this is certainly something that we can have a look at on our next inspection, to see if there are any other solutions that we can suggest here. Thank you for your comments. Tanya, Customer Services
