If you are looking to be close to all that St Ives has to offer, 1 The Galleries ticks the box perfectly, being only a few minutes stroll from the buzz of St Ives harbour front, lined with its cafes, restaurants, ice-cream parlours, independent galleries, and shops. Sleeping up to four guests, this welcoming apartment has all you need for your coastal getaway, whether a couple or small family. With two light filled bedrooms, both enjoying sea views over Porthmeor, snuggle up in the fresh white linens and enjoy a restful slumber. There's also a family bathroom, ideal for a long soak after a day of adventures. With the bonus of a small balcony overlooking Porthmeor, you can sit and dine al fresco from dawn until dusk, whilst admiring the sea views and stunning sunsets. As for beaches you are spoilt for choice with five on offer, the closest being Porthmeor, a great option for families, complete with a beachside cafe and water sport equipment hire on offer, such as paddle boarding, or surfboard hire. With a designated parking space on site, the hassle of trying to find parking needn't be a worry and gives you opportunity to explore further afield and see all this stunning county has to offer.

PLEASE NOTE: There are two projects taking place within Godrevy Gardens, which is on the land opposite the entrance of Porthmeor The Galleries - 1. There is a tall scaffolding structure up, covered in sheeting, which does impact the views from the property. These projects are due to run until Easter 2026, with varying levels of works. Spacious and well-equipped apartment in an excellent location to access Porthmeor Beach as well as the shops and harbour. Unlike the others along this road, this block of apartments has parking underneath the building making it more secure and, in my opinion as not the best at parking, had the easiest parking space in the car park! It is such a shame that the view of St Ives and the sea is now completely obscured by the building works in front and this could also prove problematic if you're a light sleeper as the work starts relatively early in the mornings.

We had the most amazing week.
The property was exactly as described and spotless. The location is incredible - door to surf school in under 4 minutes! The local items provided (tea, coffee and soap) was a lovely touch. Although the covering has gone up on the scaffolding opposite we were aware this may be the case. The builders were considerate and friendly. Aspects Holidays were amazing from start to finish and can’t recommend them highly enough.

Lovely property in a fabulous location with great views and good parking. The property was warm and clean, the beds were comfortable, the showers were very powerful and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We did hear some noise from the builders in the mornings but it wasn’t too annoying. They frequently blocked the parking area, but I’m sure they would have let us out if necessary. I recommend any of the food from the bakery at the bottom of the road, especially the bread, and the pasty’s, oh and the cruffins!

Lovely holiday in St Ives, in a very clean well stocked apartment with car parking and amazing views of the harbour and bay. Great location, 5 minute walk to St Ives bakery for a morning cruffin and another minute to the harbour. Aspects holidays were very quick to respond to concerns we had about the building work opposite.

Loved the views from all windows looking out to the harbour and Porthmeor beach, especially the sunsets. The secure parking and lift upto the property was ideal especially with transporting luggage upto the apartment Think there needs to be a slip mat for the bath especially for those with mobility issues and a grab rail also. The apartment has fabulous views of where it is, but those again with mobility issues should be mindful of the steep walk up and down to the town. The only other issue while we were there was the building works happening opposite, we were not bothered by the noise but the parking of some of the builders at times was a little inconsiderate but obviously in the future that won't be a problem.

Those views are pretty beautiful, aren't they?! Your feedback regarding the bath mat and grab rail has automatically been passed along to the owner for them to take into consideration, but we always urge guests to get in touch with us during the time of your stay if there is anything we can assist with, as we would be more than happy to help wherever we can.

As you mentioned, the walk back up the hill to the property can be tricky for some, especially after a long day exploring, but we like to think that the views do make up for the walk!

We are sorry to hear that parking was a bit tricky due to the building works in the area, we are in regular communication with the trades on site to ensure that access is retained throughout, but we are sorry you experienced this. If you want breathtaking views from every window, this is the apartment for you. The trade off is, you will have to tackle a hill if you venture out on foot, but it is worth it. I wouldn't be concerned about the building work. The temporary fence they have erected isn't very pretty, but the builders are considerate and you don't notice it after a while.

Having stayed in many properties in St Ives, this is one of our favourites. Modern apartment with plenty of space for 4. Very handy to have the small outdoor area to keep wetsuits etc. Car is in a secure garage underneath the property. It's not often you find a property for 4 with 2 bathrooms, this was very practical. Superb views across the harbour and Porthmeor. Only a smallish incline (for St Ives standard!) via steps from Fore St to the apartment, excellent location. There is construction work opposite, which tends to get going around 07:30, but we're early risers so this didn't bother us.

Great apartment, are 2nd stay here. Great location with just a short walk to harbor and shops. Some nice views out over St Ives bay. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. The secure parking is a bonus. We will defiantly be returning.

Fabulous apartment with parking, a real bonus, great views and very comfortable.

We spent a week here in the summer holidays and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect for us being a stone's throw from porthmeor beach but out the way enough that there is no foot traffic to disturb us at night. The parking is right under the property and is secure which is great. The property itself has everything you need although I would of substituted the fancy coffee machine for a cafeteria ?? but that's just me. It is light and airy and even on some really hot days remained cool with a lovely breeze coming through. I Would definitely recommend this property and it's on my list to check for availability next year

Lovely location, perfect views. I’ve been coming to St Ives for nearly twenty years and this was the best apartment we’ve stayed in.

1 The Galleries at Porthmeor is a bright, clean and modern apartment with stunning views over St. Ives but quiet and private. Secure parking is provided but once the car is parked you could easily leave it for the duration of the holiday as the property is conveniently located close to so much which can accessed by foot. The Tate is literally the next building! The apartment is well equipped, stylish and comfortable. We have had a wonderful stay and already booked for next year.

We had a lovely stay at Christmas in this great place and perfect location. So lovely as always in St Ives. Good views, but not quite as good as the property above where we stayed the year before. Not sure how the new build progressing in front will effect these views.

The height of the new building is due to be just above the road level. Fabulous location a few minutes walk from the town and beaches. We were able to park and forget the car; lovely to have secure car parking even though the garage door is a little stiff and awkward to use. A bonus being able to unload the car in the dry. It was a very comfortable apartment for the two of us.

1 The Galleries is a comfortable, spacious apartment within short walking distance from the town and Porthmeor beach. We found it an excellent place to stay, with the added bonus of easy parking underneath the building. We are returning next year as we enjoyed it so much!

Porthmeor Galleries 1 is perfectly situated with stunning views from both the main bedroom and living area. The apartment is well furnished, spotlessly clean and excellent Wi-fi. Having on site secure garage parking is a definite bonus. We have made a provisional booking for next year.

This was our 2nd visit to the apartment and we were not disappointed. Handy for beaches and town and on site parking - whats not to like?

A well located spacious apartment with excellent views and a parking space - which is a big plus in the middle of St. Ives. There are short walks to the Harbour and Porthmeor beach, although the steep paths and steps may make it difficult for someone with mobility difficulties. We would recommend this apartment and the team at Aspects Holidays who were helpful and professional both before and during our stay. We have booked to return to the property next year.

We had an excellent week at the Galleries. Had everything we needed. The showers were great. It’s in a good position looking down over the rooftops to St Ives harbour on one side and the beach on the other. It is a steep walk down so not for those with mobility problems. Having a parking place was a real bonus.

Nice, well situated property. Literally minutes from Fore Street or Porthmeor Beach depending on which downhill winding path you take. Comfortable stay with it’s own secure parking space.
