We enjoyed our short stay at Porthmeor loft in October. It was a short stroll to town although be prepared for steep climb back! The private parking was a bonus . We would definitely stay again.
Mr Goulborm Nov 2020
Lovely property in a great location with amazing sea views at the front and back! Well equipped and lovely log burner. Great to have driveway parking in St Ives (just big enough for an estate car). Perfect for a small family holiday (we were 2 adults and 1 child).
Mrs Cutler Sep 2020
A lovely house that has fantastic views and all sorts of home comforts. Very conveniently located, albeit up a steep hill but only a few minutes walk from The Tate and the beach.. Bring your own firewood & kindling (none supplied) if you want to light the lovely woodburning stove.

They really are fantastic views from there; we are glad that you liked them and enjoyed Porthmeor Loft. There is a steep hill to contend with when returning back to the property at the end of a day at one of the stunning beaches of St Ives, but we hope that you agreed is completely worth it to get those views over Porthmeor and with such a lovely homely place to return to at the end of your walk. We were sorry to hear that you did not have a starter pack of logs and kindling for the wood burner. You should have been provided with this, so we will make sure that this is fed back to the housekeeper. Thanks for letting us know. Tanya, Customer Services
Great location, stunning views but quite a small living area for 6 people.

Thank you for your comments; the owners of Porthmeor Loft have certainly put a lot of time and thought into making this a beautiful home for people to enjoy so we are glad that you liked it. We always try to be as open and honest as possible, so whilst it can accommodate 6, with 2 king-size double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, the living area is on the smaller side. We try to give an accurate representation of the size and layout of all properties within the photos and descriptions, so hope that we have achieved that in this case, but we will continue to monitor feedback. We hope that it suited all members of your party, and glad that you enjoyed the fantastic location and amazing views from this lovely property. Tanya, Customer Services PLEASE NOTE: for 2022 the owners are making some changes to the layout that will give a little more space to the lounge/kitchen/diner.
Excellent accommodation, with fabulous views.

We would stay again as it’s a special place , you would need to be fit to walk back from town , but there is a bus which goes up the hill .
Mrs Ryan Oct 2019
Once again another great stay at a Aspect holiday home. Location was perfect for watch the waves and a short stroll down to the town and harbour, but remember the hike back can be steep. Would recommend this apartment if you are looking for something a bit special.
Mrs Benson Oct 2019
Lovely property. Everything one would need for a brilliant holiday. A bonus to have two parking spaces too. Plenty of room for 5 adults . We 'll be booking again.
Ms Cartwright Sep 2019
Beautiful property with stunning views, well looked after and love the little extras
Mrs Carroll Jul 2019
St Ives is such a lovely place, with interesting shops, great food, beautiful beaches and good coastal walks. This is a lovely spacious house in an ideal location which overlooks Porthmeor Beach. The house is well designed with the master bedroom away from the other 2 on the top floor of the house and with lovely features including a drinks cooler, ensuite and great views to the sea and across St Ives. There are some very nice touches like electric blinds, sliding recess door (to separate top floor from living area) - the house has been really well thought about. The living space is comfy and the kitchen is very well equipped including a dishwasher. The property also has a useful washer/dryer and most crucially, comes with parking (we managed to park an estate car at the front). The property would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues as its at the top of a hill and the living space is on the 1st floor.
