Porth Glas is a beautiful, spacious, duplex, apartment, accessed via the ground floor. The apartment is situated within an area of St Ives that has mesmerising views, looking out over the bay and its clear, blue, waters, hence the appropriately named 'Porth Glas', which is Cornish for blue harbour. Two large bedrooms provide the ultimate comfort for a family or two couples sharing and, as they say, 'location is key!' which is certainly the case here. The property has been lovingly furnished with, both a luxurious and modern feel throughout, and is the perfect home from home for you to return back to, year after year.
You will have one of the most memorable holidays here, as you can hit the beaches within a few minutes' walk, or pop out in the car knowing that you can return back at any point with ease to the space right outside your front door. More importantly, at the end of an exciting day of exploring West Cornwall, you can pop into the indoor sauna to unwind before relaxing with your favourite tipple as the sun starts to set over Porthmeor.

I have stayed at Porth Glas a handful of times it is in the perfect location parking right outside the front door it a very luxury and spacious apartment and has everything you would need.

The Tate is a must; something everyone should visit at least once, or simply relax and enjoy the view from one of our many self-catering beach-front apartments. Most of the town and all it has to offer is a level walk from Porthmeor, making it many of our guests' first choice of location. Many Porthmeor properties offer parking and most have superb beach views and balconies.

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.
