The moment you step through the door you will be drawn to the stunning view across The Island to Porthmeor, with large windows framing the view, you can sit back on the sofa and watch the waves roll in. The apartment is light, spacious, and comfortably accommodates a family of four, with two bedrooms, and a large, family friendly, open plan kitchen, dining, and sitting room, it's an ideal space for families to gather around, whilst you cook an evening meal in the well-equipped kitchen. There a large balcony leading off from the sitting room, perfect to relax on with a glass of wine on a summers evening and take advantage of the wonderful sunsets. You will be spoilt for choice with two beautiful beaches quite literally a stone's throw from the apartment, Porthmeor and Porthgwidden, perfect for families who wish to have the beach on their doorstep. There is also a courtyard shower to rinse off the day's sea and sand. Being in such a central spot, means you have everything close to hand, whether you want to book surf lessons on Porthmeor, take a stroll around the shops of Fore Street, or while away time at one of the many Cafes and Restaurants that St Ives has to offer. Come rain or shine, for those days when you don't fancy beach life, having your own private parking space, means you can explore the beautiful county of Cornwall, or if you don't wish to take the car, hop on the train, and ride the branch line to Carbis Bay, and take in the gorgeous coastline along the way. If being active is on the itinerary, put on your walking boots and take to the Southwest coastal path, where you will be able enjoy the stunning scenery of West Cornwall. The Tate is a must; something everyone should visit at least once, or simply relax and enjoy the view from one of our many self-catering beach-front apartments. Most of the town and all it has to offer is a level walk from Porthmeor, making it many of our guests' first choice of location. Many Porthmeor properties offer parking and most have superb beach views and balconies.

Feast Day offers visitors the chance to witness, and even join in with, a centuries-old tradition. The Mayor 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into the crowd on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin.
