Great location and value for money.
Ms Elliott Jul 2024
Lovely accommodation, close to the harbour. Very comfortable, unfortunately the parking was not suitable for us, and we found it remote and not where we would like to leave the car for a week and so had to pay to use the local car park, this was disappointing. The fire in the lounge was very noisy and so could not be used. Obviously this would not be a problem in the warmer months.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you felt the parking was not suitable to leave your car in, this is such a shame to hear. Parking in St Ives comes at a premium, so we are sure you agree that it is a great advantage for the property to have a dedicated space, though we understand it is a few minutes' walk away and may not suit everyone. We try to highlight the distance from the property as best as we can on the web description. Thank you for letting us know about your experience with the fire in the living room, we will carry out the annual inspection for the property shortly and inform the owners if this needs to be looked at further. Phoebe, Customer Services
Great location for a short break. Comfortable cottage with harbour views right in the heart of St Ives.
Ms Harrison Oct 2023
Well located cottage , parking for unloading near the door….. Beautiful view from the third floor …. Well equipped kitchen … Plenty of lovely restaurants near by And Harbour Beach 2 mins away ….. We will be back next year
Mrs. JONES Sep 2023
Vitamin sea is a great base for a holiday in St Ives Out of the door and a few steps from beaches restaurants and pubs Plenty of space for 4 people but be careful up the second staircase to the double room very steep and scary if your not steady on your feet Parking space is a long walk up a big hill and quite difficult to park outside the garage I would recommend paying for a space at the rugby ground for easy access Great place to have as a base

We do hope that those steps are what you had expected. We try to make this as clear as we can in the description, as we appreciate that this may be an important consideration for some. It certainly sounds like you enjoyed it there though and made the most of that amazing location. Thanks for the feedback. Tanya Customer Services
Second year in Vitamin Sea and it didn’t disappoint… amazing location and the view from the top floor bedroom was beautiful ??
Mrs Quirke Jul 2023
A good property in a good location. Everything is within short distance, from pubs, restaurants, Fore Street, it's all within easy reach. The property is well presented and the master bedroom is wonderful. The rest of the property is well presented, but the master bedroom is so light and airy we spent most of our time there. There is a lovely seating area within the master bedroom, which was really wonderful to just sit and chill there. Kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is good, with a nice shower. Disappointingly during our visit there was no hot water to the kitchen or bathroom taps (issue with the immersion?) but we had hot water to the shower. We had a wonderful week in a very nice property, ideal if you want to be close to all St Ives has to offer.

We are so pleased you loved the central location of Vitamin Sea, it's great to have everything St Ives has to offer right on your doorstep! The property does a great job at giving you a cosy vibe of a cottage, while still being super spacious and light, too.
We are sorry to hear that there was an issue with the hot water during your stay, and since your departure we have been in touch with you to speak about this further. We encourage all guests to get in touch with us at the time of your stay if anything should go wrong, so then we can do all we can to rectify this and get your holiday back on track. We hope we can welcome you back again soon. Katy, Customer Services.
Lovely cottage in a perfect location just off the high street and very close to Porthmoer, Porthwidgen and Harbour beaches. The top floor has an amazing view and was perfect for chilling out in the Autumn sunshine. The ground floor breakfast bar was a bit of a pain, if you like a proper table for meals and playing cards and games then this probably isn't the place for you.

Thank you for your feedback following your stay at Vitamin Sea, we are so pleased that you enjoyed the great views from the top floor and the autumn sunny weather we've been having. It's a shame to hear that you didn't find the breakfast bar to be suitable for your needs, we try to show the type of décor and furnishings within the pictures of this property, as well as the property description, so that guests can make an informed decision on it's suitability at time of booking. Katy, Customer Services.
We loved the location and the general “feel”of the cottage . Bedrooms, bathroom , kitchen all good . I’d suggest replacing the sofa and armchair in the sitting room with something a bit more squishy- as they were quite hard and difficult to relax on !

Thank you for your comments following your stay at Vitamin Sea. We are glad to hear you loved the cottage, as well as its great central location, though we are sorry that you didn't find the sofa and armchair comfortable. It's very difficult to find furnishings to everybody's comfort preference, but your feedback has automatically been passed along to the owner so that they can see guest suggestions. We will also continue to monitor feedback on this. Katy, Customer Services.
Very comfortable and well equipt cottage. Lovely seating area at the top with views of the harbour and out to sea. Very clean
Mrs Crook Oct 2022
Fantastic location, just a few steps from the harbour. Cottage is well equipped and very clean. Views from the top bedroom are particularly special. Thanks for a lovely week!
Miss Machin Sep 2022
We had an amazing holiday in Vitamin Sea, the whole cottage was so clean with really comfy beds.
The location was perfect with a fabulous view from the top bedroom.
Fantastic value for money and we’ve already booked for next year ??
Mrs Quirke Aug 2022
Perfect holiday in a lovely cottage. Location was great, but knew that when booking. Will definitely look at staying in this property again
Mrs Morgan Jul 2022
Absolutely loved our stay here. It was just me and my young son and felt safe and comfortable the whole week. Amazing location- stones throw away from the harbour. Beautiful view from the top window. Smart TV in the living area with Netflix which was great for a relaxing evening after being out to one of the near by restaurants. The whole cottage was filled with helpful equipment including a coffee machine. Under the stairs there was buckets and spades and a wind breaker etc for the beach so didn’t have to pay for them elsewhere. Fully kitted out with fresh tea bags, coffee and sugar, and the fridge even had a fresh carton of milk which was great and so thoughtful. A huge trunk on the upstairs landing filled with books and games for children and books for adults too. Overall an amazing stay and would definitely return. Thank you :)
Miss Rice Jun 2022
Lovely cottage in great central location. Top floor bedroom is excellent with beautiful light aspect and stunning views. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.
Mr Walsh May 2022
Vitamin Sea is lovely little cottage. Ideally located near the harbour, although I suspect, when visiting in the high season it would get very busy at night when the revellers leave the pubs/restaurants. The view in the loft bedroom is incredible, watching the tide come in and out and the sunset/sunrise was a joy. Even the seagulls, whom I normally am quite wary of, were interesting to watch as they huddled together on the rooves protecting themselves from the wind and rain.
We had a slight issue with the thermostat settings on the radiators and the shower but these didn't distract from the stay. I don't normally comment on beds, but both were incredibly comfortable and added to the relaxing short break we had. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and once again, booking with Aspects was very easy and we felt the cottage was extremely good value for money.
Ms Sheffield Mar 2022
Vitamin Sea is a brilliant holiday cottage to stay in - it's location is perfect and the large window on the top floor has a beautiful view. We spent many hours sitting up there watching the sea and the birds flying around the rooftops!
The cottage is well stocked with everything that you need and we felt well looked after by Aspects holidays - we would definitely return again to Vitamin Sea! Thankyou for a lovely stay there!
Mrs Wright Dec 2021
Property is fantastically located for the beach and all the shops and restaurants.
Mrs James Nov 2021
Lovely cosy cottage in the heart of st Ives. Well equipped for your stay and very comfortable. Perfect location. However stairs to master bedroom are steep. Not a problem for us but something to consider for less mobile. Highly recommended cottage.
Mrs Harris Nov 2021
Lovely little place and great location. Only 2 of us stayed in it which was fine for us but I would find it a bit cramped with 4 people.
Miss McGrory Oct 2021
Great location, views from top bedroom sitting there with the door open playing cards was very nice and would definitely return here for the ease of the whole holiday, no stress whatsoever!
Mr Baldwin Aug 2021
Easy access to town, shops, beaches. The view on the third floor was amazing . Very comfortable and it was everything we needed. Would love to come back again.
Miss Woodward Jul 2021
Property is in an amazing spot right next to the harbour. It is also exactly as described in the brochure so no nasty surprises on arrival. Brilliant value for money.
Mr Parkes Jul 2021
Vitamin Sea is small but perfectly located. The downstairs lounge/kitchen/dinner is good for what it is but tight on space. Bedrooms and bathroom all very good. The location is fabulous and is the real selling point for the property. Very easy access to harbour and Fore Street and short walks to Porthgwidden and Porthmeor. Perfectly located for dropping in and out to leave stuff or pick it up. Ease of access to food and drink good and bad in a good way!!
Mr Farrow Jun 2021
This accomodation is charming, clean and comfortable.
