We are glad that you liked the Flying Pilchard, and although we spoke to you at the time of your stay, we would again like to apologise for the disturbances caused by the roofing works taking place on the neighbouring property. Had we been aware of this before your arrival, we would have pre-warned you, and we are very sorry that we had not had that opportunity. Unfortunately, in a residential area like this, it can come up from time to time without warning, but we are happy to read that it has not put you off returning to The Flying Pilchard. Lovely cottage very quiet and good location.
Mrs Wilkinson Feb 2019
Wonderful location that allowed us to explore St Ives easily. Cosy property which would be perfect if it had any form of parking.

It's great to hear how much you enjoyed The Flying Pilchard. Parking is unfortunately at a premium in St Ives, with many properties not having this facility. For those without this facility, it is always worth looking into parking options beforehand on the local council website and looking into private parking availability, particularly for peak weeks. There is also a park and ride facility which some find useful. Please feel free to contact the team for any advice. Thanks for your comments, and we hope to see you back here soon. This cottage is very comfortable and clean, everything was perfect, highly recommend it.
Mrs Valentine May 2017
The Flying Pilchard is light and spacious, equipped to a high standard. It is perfectly positioned for The Tate, the town and several of the beaches. A real bonus is Norway Stores, quaint but amazingly well stocked and only 50 yards away.
