The Burrow is a ground floor, studio apartment located in the heart of Downalong just seconds from Porthgwidden beach. Its modern interior is perfect for couples looking for their own little haven to escape to, while easily being able to access all that the popular town of St Ives has to offer. The comfortable furnishings and welcoming space allow you to come and go with ease, whether using The Burrow as a base to explore St Ives, or simply to spend some quality time together to relax. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect to cook up a feast, using some fresh, local produce from places like the Allotment Deli, you might even be able to purchase some fresh seafood from the fisherman on the Quay as they land their catch.
Start your mornings wandering along the harbour, where you can book a boat trip out to Seal Island, you may even spot some dolphins, or bring the day to a close with a stroll around the nearby Island, watching the evening surfers catch a wave on Porthmeor beach, as you enjoy the stunning sunset.

Very clean and well equipped, excellent bathroom and ideal location for beaches. Its name 'The Burrow' suits as it is very small, especially when studio couch down, and would be more suited for single occupancy.

This is a fantastic place to stay in a great location - especially for dogs as it is close to the beach and island. Although it is only small, the property is very well equipped and has everything you need. The sofa bed is not the most comfortable however I think this is due to the mattress topper rather than the bed and therefore could be easily rectified. Overall very good stay here and would happily stay again.

Steeped in history, Downalong is a timeless haven that captures the fishing heritage and thriving art community of this enchanting area of St Ives. With all that St Ives has to offer on your doorstep, spend endless days exploring the sandy shores, stunning coastal paths and bustling harbourside.
Downalong is a historic Cornish term for an area of harbourside fisherman's cottages 'down along the harbour'?

Lovely trip to St Ives staying at the Burrow. Small apartment but perfect for me and my husband and dog. Great location near two lovely beaches and the town centre. Would book again.

Lovely little property- ideal for one person, perfect location for all beaches. Very good value for money. Would have liked a little bit of outside space to sit & enjoy the evening sunshine- maybe a little bistro table with 2 chairs ?
