The en suite, in addition to the main bathroom, provides privacy for your party to get ready with ease in the mornings, before heading out for a day of exploring. Within minutes you can be strolling through Fore Street, taking in the smell of freshly made Cornish pasties and sweet homemade fudge, while window shopping the local boutiques, or head to one of five nearby beaches, where you can dip your toes in the warm golden sand or go paddling in the clear blue waters.

Featuring more than 20 sea shanty groups and with sailor and pirate themed fancy dress, this year's event will be raising money for Cornwall Air Ambulance and its New Heli Appeal. It'll take place in various pubs and venues in St Ives.

Feast Day offers visitors the chance to witness, and even join in with, a centuries-old tradition. The Mayor 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into the crowd on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin.
