A delightful three storey Downalong cottage which has been lovingly restored into a warm, welcoming and extremely comfortable home. Walk in from Back Road West into the light and airy sitting room with stable door and you will be amazed by the sense of space of Nell's Cottage. Just a few moments away is Porthmeor beach, the turquoise waters of the harbour and the charming shop-lined cobbled street running through the centre of St Ives. Ideal for families or friends sharing, Nell's Cottage will become a firm favourite to all who stay there.

one step down from Back Road West leading straight into:

large L-shaped sofa, foot stool with storage, electric fire, TV/DVD, Bluetooth speaker, dining table with seating for six, selection of books and DVDs.

Kitchen

electric oven and induction hob, washing machine, small dishwasher, fridge/freezer, tumble dryer under stairs. Stairs from ground floor to first floor:

super king size double bed, wicker chair.

Family bathroom

Nell's cottage is in a fantastic location. It is very comfortable and spacious and is the best equipped cottage I've ever stayed in - it had everything and more!!

St Ives Feast Day

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.

Had many holidays in Cornwall with Aspects Holidays and our favorites has to be Hobbit Cottage & Nell's Cottage.Always stayed at Hobbit but left to late to book so choose Nell's cottage. Will be hard to choose next year between the two as love them both. Excellent location, clean and nicely furnished. For a family of four can highly recommend both.
