Amazing little cottage in a perfect location, we were able to nip to the beach, or town and managed to avoid some of the downpours that Storm Dennis brought us. This house had everything you could need, including hot water bottles for the chillier nights. The kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen we have come across in a holiday let, and it made self catering very easy. The cottage itself is cosy and welcoming and we felt very much at home here and wouldn’t hesitate to come again.

February 2020

Very cosy cottage. Well stocked with crockery etc. Comfortable beds. Nice shower rooms.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We were very sorry to see that this property wasn't to your liking and that you wouldn't stay again. We try to ensure that we market a large range of properties, to take account of the wide range in people's tastes and budgets. Island Cottage is a traditional fisherman's Cottage which has always been a very popular property that many return to regularly, but we appreciate that the style and decor may not suit everyone, so we try to show it as clearly as possible within the photos. Please do not hesitate to get in contact with us if you are ever looking to return to Cornwall, so that we can best advise you on properties that will better meet your requirements and preferred taste. Excellent location for beaches and island carpark.

The cottage was in an excellent location. Ideal for 6 adults as the added bathroom was a bonus. Lovely and warm making it very cosy.

Aug 2015

I would be happy to recommend Island Cottage to potential future guests. The cottage is clean and comfortable, contains all the facilities required for a fun family holiday, and is ideally located for easy access to beaches (Portgwidden beach is literally a one minute walk from the cottage), the coastal footpath, shops and restaurants.
