A well equipped, traditional looking, Downalong cottage in excellent location for all that StIves offers.

Great location right in the middle of town and only a few steps from all the beaches. A comfortable place to stay with all facilities. We had a great Christmas break there with the added bonus of being able to take the dog with us.

Fantastic locations, really lovely place to stay. Near to everything. Lovely cottage, we have 4 people stay in this cottage and that was enough, not sure x6 people would fit comfortably. Brilliant value for money. We would book though aspects holiday every time we visit st ives.

Thank you for your comments, and it is great to hear how much you liked Hideaway- The Digey. Many properties within the heart of St Ives are traditional fisherman's cottages. They are packed full of character inside and out, but often a little smaller and layouts quirkier than in more modern buildings. We always try to be as open and honest as possible, so whilst it can accommodate 6, with 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, the living space and kitchen may not work for all parties of 6. We try to give an accurate representation of the size and layout of all properties within our photos and descriptions, so hope that we have achieved that in this case, but we will continue to monitor feedback. We are glad that it worked so well for you and hopefully we will see you here again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Pretty and very stylish Ikea inspired cottage. The communal areas are quite small but work well for 2. Location is excellent handy to everything you need to do in St. Ives. I know a washing machine was not included in the description but think the addition of this and a dryer would be extremely helpful.

A lovely cosy cottage. Beds are so comfy. Bedding and towels pristine. Perfectly located near the shops to your right, and one of the beaches one minute down the road to your left.

Lovely property in a great location.

This is cottage is bright and nicely decorated and in a great central location.

Fantastic location, loved the quirkiness of the traditional cottage. Bathrooms great. Toasty warm in December. Great for 4 adults: possibly a little cramped for 6.

Beautiful cottage. Not ideal for a young family as no washing machine and lots of stairs. Perfect get away for a young couple or someone who wants to be close to the shops and the beach. We would go back if they put a washing machine in.

Being a traditional St Ives fishermans cottage, they are often a little smaller and layouts/stairs more quirky and steeper than in more modern buildings, but packed full of character. We always try to be as open and honest as possible, and try to give an accurate representation of properties within our photos and hope that we have achieved that in this case. We are delighted to hear that you liked Hideaway - The Digey and its fantastic location, despite the number of stairs and lack of washing machine, and thank you for taking the time to send in your comments. Hideaway is our favourite place to stay in St Ives. We have stayed there twice and just booked for a third time. The location is in the best part of St Ives, just a few seconds from both Porthmeor beach and the high street. The cottage has a special cosy feel and we always feel at home straight away. We have many happy memories of staying there and would definitely recommend it.

Lovely property set over 3 floors and in a great location. Downside is the kitchen. It is very small, so eating out is recommended. High step for access so be careful! Clean on arrival and has a cosy feel to it. I would consider booking again.

Thanks for your comments; we are glad to hear that you liked Hideaway - The Digey. The kitchen is a bit on the small side, especially if you are used to working with a bigger kitchen, so some may find the space a little difficult to work with, but it still provides everything that should be required to cook and provide for a self-catered holiday. We try to show this as clearly as possible in the photos, so we hope that this was what you had expected. It was great to hear that you enjoyed your holiday and we hope to see you again soon. Hideaway is the perfect base for exploring St Ives. A few minutes' walk away from the beaches, the Tate, and the shops, it could not been more centrally positioned. Although small, it is a charming property with a cosy sitting room, space for six and two excellent bathrooms. Home from home!

lovely property in a fantastic location - a bit cramped though with too many people!

A lovely quaint cottage in a great location, just minutes from shops & beach would highly recommend

Fabulous property. Small but with everything we needed for our long weekend. Very comfortable and we would definitely come back.

We loved our stay at Hideaway - The Digey, and will most certainly book it again! The fact that it is mere steps to The Digey Food Room is a wonderful plus, and being so near to Fore Street was convenient to all our needs. We definitely recommend this cottage to couples or families with children. They, too, will want to return!

A lovely cottage in a superb location, close to beaches and amenities, perfect for a car free holiday.

The Hideaway was a cute and cosy cottage, with comfortable beds and furnishings in a very central location in lovely St Ives. We'd happily stay again.

This is one of the nicest places in one could wish to stay in when you come to St Ives. Central, but quiet, it is a cosy home from home - warm, friendly, welcoming. Recommended for guests who plan to sample the many good restaurants in town as the kitchen does not lend itself for producing extensive meals.

Great cottage in a central location for all the fun and delights of St Ives .

A beautiful cottage right in the heart of St Ives. My 8 year old twins loved it.

Great cottage in a great location.we will be back soon .

Nicely furnished, taking full advantage of StIves light with large windows. Deceptively larger than one expects with carefully planned layout.

Great cottage ,great location, we will be back again soon .

We love this house! The location could not be more convenient - close to Porthmeor, the Harbour, and the shops. Although it is tiny, it does not feel cramped. The sitting room is cosy, there are two excellent showers, and the bedrooms are very comfortable. We have been coming back year on year and are planning to continue!

Perfect place to stay, right in the center of st.ives, once inside the cottage, you are tucked away from noise,,lovely and quiet

Delicious cottage in an extremely convenient location, close to shops and beaches, and yet The Digey is quiet and safely lit at night. Has two bathrooms which is wonderful! The kitchen has every utensil you can imagine. Sweet stable door and lovely decor, luxurious curtains and wonderful soft pillows. The bedroom next to the lounge has the most comfortable double bed ever known!. This cottage is lovely, full of character but modern too. You won't regret staying here. It is lovely and cosy in the winter and great to take your pasty back to, have a drink and then you are straight back out!

The Hideaway is a great cottage located perfectly for all that St Ives has to offer.

Location is excellent. A stones throw from the main high street and 3 minutes from Porthmeor beach where we spend most of our time surfing and body boarding. Facilities were great for a family of four with two older boys 14/16. Three story cottage with the two lads sleeping in separate rooms on the top floor with their own bathroom was excellent. Double bedroom on second floor lovely. Bathrooms excellent. Kitchen tidy and compact with everything required to cook meals at home. Would recommend highly.

A charming, well maintained, smaller sized and comfortable cottage in a good location.

A wonderful location, five minutes walk to the porthmeor beach, the Tate the harbour and some good restaurants.A pretty, compact cottage.

Hideaway is just lovely: cosy, comfortable, beautifully furnished, and right in the centre of St Ives. We have been coming for five years now and have every intention to continue the tradition!
