Mrs Wray Dec 2019
Beautiful cottage. Not ideal for a young family as no washing machine and lots of stairs. Perfect get away for a young couple or someone who wants to be close to the shops and the beach. We would go back if they put a washing machine in.

Being a traditional St Ives fishermans cottage, they are often a little smaller and layouts/stairs more quirky and steeper than in more modern buildings, but packed full of character. We always try to be as open and honest as possible, and try to give an accurate representation of properties within our photos and hope that we have achieved that in this case. We are delighted to hear that you liked Hideaway - The Digey and its fantastic location, despite the number of stairs and lack of washing machine, and thank you for taking the time to send in your comments. Tanya, Customer Services
Hideaway is our favourite place to stay in St Ives. We have stayed there twice and just booked for a third time. The location is in the best part of St Ives, just a few seconds from both Porthmeor beach and the high street. The cottage has a special cosy feel and we always feel at home straight away. We have many happy memories of staying there and would definitely recommend it.
Ms Barker Jun 2019
Lovely property set over 3 floors and in a great location. Downside is the kitchen. It is very small, so eating out is recommended. High step for access so be careful! Clean on arrival and has a cosy feel to it. I would consider booking again.

Thanks for your comments; we are glad to hear that you liked Hideaway - The Digey. The kitchen is a bit on the small side, especially if you are used to working with a bigger kitchen, so some may find the space a little difficult to work with, but it still provides everything that should be required to cook and provide for a self-catered holiday. We try to show this as clearly as possible in the photos, so we hope that this was what you had expected. It was great to hear that you enjoyed your holiday and we hope to see you again soon. Hideaway is the perfect base for exploring St Ives. A few minutes' walk away from the beaches, the Tate, and the shops, it could not been more centrally positioned. Although small, it is a charming property with a cosy sitting room, space for six and two excellent bathrooms. Home from home!
Ms Richmond Apr 2019
lovely property in a fantastic location - a bit cramped though with too many people!
Dr Wilcox Apr 2019

Mrs Knox Dec 2018
Fabulous property. Small but with everything we needed for our long weekend. Very comfortable and we would definitely come back.
Miss McDonald Dec 2018
We loved our stay at Hideaway - The Digey, and will most certainly book it again! The fact that it is mere steps to The Digey Food Room is a wonderful plus, and being so near to Fore Street was convenient to all our needs. We definitely recommend this cottage to couples or families with children. They, too, will want to return!
Mrs Cowgill Oct 2018
A lovely cottage in a superb location, close to beaches and amenities, perfect for a car free holiday.
Mr Ponsford Sep 2018
The Hideaway was a cute and cosy cottage, with comfortable beds and furnishings in a very central location in lovely St Ives. We'd happily stay again.
Ms Williams Aug 2018
This is one of the nicest places in one could wish to stay in when you come to St Ives. Central, but quiet, it is a cosy home from home - warm, friendly, welcoming. Recommended for guests who plan to sample the many good restaurants in town as the kitchen does not lend itself for producing extensive meals.
Ms Richmond Apr 2018
Great cottage in a central location for all the fun and delights of St Ives .
Ms Wakefield Jan 2018
A beautiful cottage right in the heart of St Ives. My 8 year old twins loved it.
Mr Curley Nov 2017
Great cottage in a great location.we will be back soon .
Ms Wakefield Oct 2017
Nicely furnished, taking full advantage of StIves light with large windows. Deceptively larger than one expects with carefully planned layout.
Mr Sharpe Oct 2017
Great cottage ,great location, we will be back again soon .
Ms Wakefield May 2017
We love this house! The location could not be more convenient - close to Porthmeor, the Harbour, and the shops. Although it is tiny, it does not feel cramped. The sitting room is cosy, there are two excellent showers, and the bedrooms are very comfortable. We have been coming back year on year and are planning to continue!
Ms Richmond Apr 2017

Mrs Croshaw Mar 2017
Delicious cottage in an extremely convenient location, close to shops and beaches, and yet The Digey is quiet and safely lit at night. Has two bathrooms which is wonderful! The kitchen has every utensil you can imagine. Sweet stable door and lovely decor, luxurious curtains and wonderful soft pillows. The bedroom next to the lounge has the most comfortable double bed ever known!. This cottage is lovely, full of character but modern too. You won't regret staying here. It is lovely and cosy in the winter and great to take your pasty back to, have a drink and then you are straight back out!
Ms Barham Mar 2017
The Hideaway is a great cottage located perfectly for all that St Ives has to offer.
Mr Daley Dec 2016
Location is excellent. A stones throw from the main high street and 3 minutes from Porthmeor beach where we spend most of our time surfing and body boarding. Facilities were great for a family of four with two older boys 14/16. Three story cottage with the two lads sleeping in separate rooms on the top floor with their own bathroom was excellent. Double bedroom on second floor lovely. Bathrooms excellent. Kitchen tidy and compact with everything required to cook meals at home. Would recommend highly.
Mr Harrison Jul 2016
A charming, well maintained, smaller sized and comfortable cottage in a good location.
Mrs Smith Aug 2015
