Take in the views with your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening from the lovely bay window seat, or view the harbour up close; Sunrise is ideally situated only a five minute walk down to the harbour and beaches.

accessed via a pedestrian footpath and up one flight of internal stairs to the apartment door and small internal hallway:

open plan room, modern kitchen with oven and halogen hob, fridge with ice box, sofa bed, large bay window with stunning views, window seat with dining table, TV/DVD, Xbox 360, original artwork.

Bedroom

king size bed, dressing area, TV, hairdryer, window to rear and sliding doors from kitchen area that when opened allows you to see the view. Plenty of room for a cot if required.

Bathroom

door from bedroom to family bathroom with bath and shower over, WC, basin and washing machine.

Additional information

two tier communal area in front of the house with sea views. WiFi, short breaks available.

Parking in Barnoon

Properties in Barnoon/Carthew are fantastic for those bringing a car to St Ives. Three quarters of our properties here come with private parking and there is opportunity to use the Barnoon car park. Apartments such as those in the Carthew Court development are located in residential areas and have superb, elevated views.

Self catering in Barnoon

Although you are still well located between Porthmeor and the town, self catering in Barnoon/Carthew allows you a lot more room to relax, with amenities such as WiFi and luxuries like sea views. Walk down the hill in one direction and you can visit the Tate and Porthmeor beach, or head right and you'll find yourself in the centre of town.

Local events

St Ives Feast Day

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.
