For walkers and nature lovers, there are plentiful trails directly from the doorstep, including a gentle stroll to nearby Trencrom Hill, where you'll be rewarded with some of the most dramatic panoramic views in Cornwall. From here, gaze across to St Michael's Mount to the south and the endless golden sands of Gwithian to the north. Whether you're seeking rest, adventure, or a little of both, Old Springfields is a perfect base to unwind and enjoy the very best of Cornwall. For larger groups, the cottage sits conveniently next door to Ayda's Rest, ideal for friends or extended family to book together.

Excellent cottage all good quality equipment we could possibly need , very comfortable, spacious and clean. Welcome pack very good quality and a nice surprise. Very good location for us as keen walkers with interesting routes and views all round, Transport interchange less than one mile down nearby lane. Aiming to stay again sometime and recommend to friends and family. Small issue with heating solved in timely fashion after bringing to Aspects attention.

Lelant is a pretty, quaint village that is situated on the main route to Carbis Bay and St Ives. Stop off at the Gurnard’s Head for a bite of lunch or make your way down to Cape Cornwall and Sennen Cove

For those looking to explore on foot, the 12.5 mile St Michael's Way walk from Lelant to Marazion offers a great way to experience the Cornish countryside. The walk meanders through moorland and the small villages of Gulval and Ludgvan before emerging in Marazion with St Michael's Mount in clear view.
