The cottage is lovely and we had a wonderful family holiday there. Beautifully-cleaned and maintained. Fantastically-equipped and both Aspects staff and the owners were really helpful and super responsive to questions. The sky outside at night is really clear and free of light pollution, for anyone who loves stargazing. Plenty of beaches and walks within around 20 minutes' drive and in a fantastic part of Cornwall, with so much to see and do. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful, lovely country cottage. Grounds and location were gorgeous! Our dog loved it there. Everything was clean and tidy with lovely Shortbread biscuits, tea and coffee left out for us. Would definitely go again.

Beautiful cottage off the beaten track Such a lovely relaxing place We will be back Our dog loved the garden

Beautiful comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped. We will definitely return!

Lovely cottage you will not be disappointed. Fantastic little touches left on arrival, tea, coffee, milk in the fridge. Cookies, fudge and magazines showing you what to do and see in Cornwall. Fantastic equipped kitchen has everything you need and good quality. Very comfortable beds. Spacious inside and lovely outdoor space. Plenty parking space. Beautiful tranquil location. Will definitely book to stay here again.

Lovely cottage in a very calm area if Cornwall. Perfect to recharge. Not really suitable for very small children, but really we had great holiday, despite the rain!

Superb holiday despite mixed weather thanks to a gorgeous property which we settled into immediately. Kitchen very well equipped. Loved the tranquility the property provided. We were impressed with Aspects Holidays too - very professional service. Would highly recommend this property bearing in mind the car will be required to get everywhere…but only 20 mins to Widecombe Bay / Bude so near enough to the coast whilst providing peace and tranquility.

Beautiful property in outstanding location

Could not ask for a better place to stay in Cornwall, easy to reach. Got to expect the small Cornish roads but they are not a maze and is very easy to reach, specially from Davidstow Old Airport.

The house is perfectly furnished, all fresh and inkeeping with the building. Kitchen new and filled with everything you'll need and more. Bathroom fresh and new, both bedrooms are gorgeous. The property has soooo much character, we did not want to leave. If I could I'd buy it and live there.

It was the holiday property of our dreams, along with the house of our dreams.

Thank you so much for letting your house out, you have made one of the happiest holidays and weeks of our lives x

Excellent location to access Cornwall’s attractions. Fantastic cottage, well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, would highly recommend!

The cottage is beautiful, quiet, friendly sheep and neighbours

Definitely a country retreat so be prepared for narrow lanes & using a car to travel to a shop & visiting places around this part of north Cornwall. Comfortable lounge area, which would benefit from the addition of curtains as mentioned in a previous review.

Thank you for your feedback and we hope that you enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful location of Lower Trevivian Cottage. Curtains and blinds have been installed upstairs for guests' privacy, but the owners are still looking into options for installing curtains downstairs. Unfortunately, with the restrictions due to the listed status, it is not a straightforward task, but it is still very much in consideration. Thank you again for taking the time to send in your comments and we hope to welcome you back to Cornwall again soon. Tanya, Customer Services

Really lovely cottage if you are looking for a rural retreat, however do expect to have to drive everywhere for anything needed and it be a minimum 40/45 round trip for milk. Cottage was immaculate and clean, could do with a little more “cosy” adding downstairs where tiled with curtains etc, but that might just be me!!

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your feedback; we are glad that you enjoyed it here. Its rural location will mean that you have a bit of a drive to the nearest amenities, though there is a farm shop only 4 miles away, for some lovely fresh and local produce. However, it is its location away from everything that really makes this property so special. The owners have not been able to install any curtains downstairs so far, due to the unusual shapes around the windows and being a little restricted on what work can be carried out due to its grade II listed status, but the owners are looking into solutions, so hopefully this is something that they will be able to add in the future. We hope that you had a great time exploring the area and hopefully we will see you back again in the future. Tanya, Customer Services

Lovely cottage with comfortable furnishings and all the amenities you could need. It is very quiet and peaceful, only sounds are the birds, sheep and occasional car. Had a wonderful relaxing break. Good small farm shop 10 minutes drive away, really good food. Will certainly return

A super cottage, tucked away in the countryside, but with relatively easy access to some nearby beaches; about 20 minutes by car. The cottage kitchen is very well stocked which is great for cooking. (A washer / dryer would have been more useful than just a washing machine, as drying clothes can be a little tricky, but this is a minor detail.) The beds were super comfy, as was the lounge, although a little tricky for all 4 of us to sit comfortably in the evening. The garden is beautiful and overlooks fields of cattle and sheep and is extremely peaceful. The whole cottage was lovely and clean, with thoughtful details throughout, and we would stay again. The owners were very friendly and helpful too!

We loved staying at this beautiful house. It is well furnished and the kitchen is very well stocked to a high standard. It is so peaceful, set in the countryside well away from main roads but within an easy drive to both the north and south coasts.

The house was great. I will definitely look at booking with Aspect again in the future.

The cottage is in a secluded location and perfect for a quiet getaway. It has a homely feel with all the little things you need for a relaxing stay. We would recommend it and hope to visit again soon
