Joshua's Cottage is an attractive, traditional, granite cottage set over four floors and positioned in a quiet location, just 2 minutes walk from St Ives town centre, with its many independant shops and restaurants and a few minutes walk from the beaches. With an enclosed courtyard to the rear, it is ideal for that morning cuppa or evening tipple. The spacious living area makes this cottage ideal for famillies or a few friends to relax and enjoy time together, after exploring St Ives. From the top bedroom you can see across the roof tops to St Ives Bay.
The bonus of having a parking space close by gives you the freedom to roam further and enjoy the many locations nearby, including St Michael's Mount and Land's End, but easily return to the heart of the town and be able to park your car in an underground secure car park.

Joshua's cottage is very well positioned in St.Ives and the gated parking is an absolute gift. Short walk down to the Wonderful shops, restaurants and cafes, there is so many to choose from you will be spoiled for choice. The house itself is comfortable but with lots of steep stairs so not ideal for children or anyone with mobility issues. Very comfy beds and the top bedroom has wonderful views across the roof tops to the sea.

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.
