Piazza is a much sought after holiday destination, the building even has its own private access to the beach. If you haven't already been tempted enough, you also have your very own parking space, which will help towards your carefree, rejuvenating break away. Needless to say, you are a short walk away from everything you could possibly need. This perfect apartment will make your holiday in St Ives unforgettable.

Due to the original 1970's build the height of the a handrail in the mezzanine bedroom is not quite as high as you may find in a more modern building, this may want to be considered if bringing young children. WiFi, short breaks available.

 

We have stayed in No 24 several times now, from before the latest refurbishment. It is very comfortable and done in excellent taste.

Holidays in Porthmeor

The Tate is a must; something everyone should visit at least once, or simply relax and enjoy the view from one of our many self-catering beach-front apartments. Most of the town and all it has to offer is a level walk from Porthmeor, making it many of our guests' first choice of location. Many Porthmeor properties offer parking and most have superb beach views and balconies.

Local events

St Ives Feast Day

Held on the anniversary of the consecration of the Parish Church of St Eia in 1434 AD, Feast Day offers visitors to witness - and even join in with - some centuries-old traditions. A morning precesison led by the Mayor to bless the Well of St Eia. Following this, the Mayor will 'Hurls the Silver Ball' into a crowd of children who assemble on the beach below. The one who returns the ball to the Guildhall steps by midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon the Mayor then throw pennies from the balcony of the Guildhall for children to collect.
