I stayed here as I wanted some peace and quiet whilst doing an online course. The cottage was warm and comfortable and the views from the upstairs windows were particularly good. Being able to walk straight out to the coastal path was lovely. A great location, near to the beach and all the local amenities, with the additional benefit of a parking space. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Location of house was excellent (short walk to the pubs!) Good parking space as well. The two ladies in the Aspects Porthleven office were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely book again with Aspects.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cliffwell House. The house was clean, well equipped and had comfortable furnishings. It occupies an excellent situation in a quiet part of the town with lovely sea views from the upper front bedrooms. Highly recommended!

This cottage is perfectly placed to take advantage of the walks in both directions along the coastal path, as well as all of the bars and restaurants that the harbour had to offer. The parking space was rare for this location and although looked a bit small we fit a regular sized SUV in it no problem although wouldn't guarantee would fit a long estate car in it. The cottage was very clean and had everything you could ask for. The outside space was pleasant enough although if wanting evening drinks in the sun you're better off at the Atlantic Inn which was just behind the cottage (and reasonably priced too). The indoor layout was very spacious and it was lovely having views from the windows. Would easily sleep a family in comfort.

Would recommend this cottage and Porthleven to anyone that wants to make the most that the area has to offer.

Our stay at Cliffwell House exceeded expectations. The house was clean and well equipped, everything as described on-line. With views of the sea and close to the beach and amenities it proved to be one of the best holiday properties that I've had the pleasure to stay in. I would recomend it to anyone who enjoy a peaceful holiday in a seaside location. The weather last week was exceptional which always helps with time away. Already applied for a return visit next year, just hope that happens.

Lovely cottage and fantastic view. Extremely well equipped.

We had a wonderful week at Cliffwell House which we extended as the house was very comfortable and you cannot beat the location. Plenty of walks, good bus connections if you want to do sections of the South West Coast Path. Can recommend the restaurant Amelie, Ann's pasties and fish and chips near the harbour. Already looking forward to visiting again.

A delightful bright and airy property in an excellent location for all Porthleven has to offer. Both the owners and Aspects clearly take great care to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The property was exactly as described, in a perfect location. We really enjoyed our week there.

Cliffwell House is well positioned and you do get a genuine sea view from several of the rooms, in particular a small upstairs room where the owners even provide a set of binoculars. There is a private parking space outside the back of the house which was spacious enough for our ford fiesta but you may struggle if you have a Chelsea tractor. The cottage is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. There was a nice welcome pack which was appreciated. The cottage was cleaned to a high standard. There are two bathrooms / toilets and three bedrooms, a main double, twin room and a single, all have plenty of storage. The bed was comfortable and the only noise you hear is the waves. We had a great holiday and would book Cliffwell again.

Excellent position for access to town, beach, cliffs - and buses!

Lovely house, beautifully kept, well stocked kitchen and facilities. Within walking distance to harbour. Lovely views nearby. Clean and fresh, housekeeper is super.

Had fabulous stay at Cliffwell, helped by glorious weather. So convenient for beach, harbour and coastal walks. On arrival Cliffwell was spotlessly clean. Although we had some issues with not enough hot water this didn't spoil our stay and we will hopefully return for another 3 or 4 week stay. Aspects really do their best to help with any problems.

Cliffwell House provides an excellent place to stay in Porthleven. The house is located just yards from the sea front and with very easy access to all the shops and restaurants in Porthleven and brilliantly situated for walking out towards Loe Bar and the Penrose estate. We had a brilliant week, even storm Noa added an extra little bit if excitements.

Lovely property in a fantastic location would definitely stay again.
