Great place for exploring the South West of Cornwall. Local bus service is very good and stops almost outside the apartments and is cheaper and easier than parking in St Ives. Lots of lovely beaches to explore. The Carbis Bay beach is great but its quite a steep walk back up the hill although the route through the woods is slightly easier. Suggested places to visit other than St Ives would be Marazion Sennen Cove and Mousehole. Also worth a visit is Godrevy point . A little bit farer but worth it is Newquay and Fistral Beach.

First time that we had used aspects Holidays, and were very pleased with the overall service they gave to us. Description of accommodation, location to the beaches, town, local transport and shops were accurately described.

Just had a lovely 3 night break in The Ropewalk apartment. Arrived earlier than expected and the apartment was ready which was a great bonus. The front gates are automatic, you drive round to the bottom carpark and there’s a lift up to the apartment which is ideal when checking in with all your luggage . From the front of the apartment your on ground level . The apartment is beautiful ,plenty of space . Lounge and kitchen lead to large balcony with just a tiny glimpse of the sea in the distance ( shall the trees can be cut a bit ). Bedrooms are lovely and bathrooms very nice and modern . Apartment has everything you need . Plenty of Toilet rolls.dishwasher tablets.washing tablets . A carton of milk in fridge . Tea coffee and a pack of yummy biscuits . Everything perfect . Highly recommended.

If you wish for a high standard apartment then this will satisfy. Quiet, clean and comfortable with a gated secure parking spot. Ideal location to tour this part of Cornwall.

Outstanding apartment in a great location, well equipped and well maintained, and good value for money. Strongly recommended.

Lovely big apartment with everything one could possibly need for a family holiday. Nice views over trees and sea from the balcony. 30 minute walk into St.Ives and 5 minutes to Tescos, great location!

Loved the apartment. Great location

We had previously booked a different apartment in St. Ives for the last few years but it sadly wasn’t available for the week we stayed. Happily, this apartment more than stood up to the test. Great location. Get a First Bus weekly ticket for unlimited use (great for popping into St. Ives for the day, popping back to freshen up then out again for the evening), the bus stop is just outside the apartment. Broadband is the quickest we have experienced in Cornwall. A lovely location and very clean, modern apartment. The parking space is a generous size and there’s no problem parking. We would definitely stay in Carbis Bay and this apartment again. Kitchen equipment is excellent. The bathroom has a lovely bath and shower. The super king size bed was extremely comfortable with quality bedding.

This apartment is in an excellent location for visiting the local area. Very well-equipped and very comfortable. Access to WiFi and Netflix was much appreciated as weather not too good for our visit and we couldn't get out as much as in previous trips to the area. Useful to have Tesco on doorstep.

We stayed at 5 St Margarets for a staycation for my mum and sister’s birthday. The place was located in a great location 5 mins from a Tesco’s. The place was clean and very comfortable. Over all we was very happy with our stay and would definitely be booking again.

beautiful clean and well presented apartment with lovely balcony - very good facilities and well equipped kitchen. However , we did not sleep well due to the road noise

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are sorry to hear that you found it particularly noisy. The apartment is situated on the main road into St Ives, so you may hear traffic, though it does vary greatly at different times of the year, with out of peak weeks being much quieter. Although the road can be busy, and noise may be heard at times, this beautifully presented apartment is in such a fantastic location for exploring this area of Cornwall, so we hope that you enjoyed it. Really enjoyable stay in a very nice apartment in a super location

Amazing holiday in a great apartment in a great location. Very good service from Aspects. Will definitely be using them again.

Clean, tidy, spacious apartment in a good location. Well equipped with pleasant view from living room balcony through trees to the sea. Safe off road parking, and convenient path to beach alongside the apartment building, which was steep but we navigated ok in the rain with a 2 and 5 year old! Would definitely be happy to stay here again.

The cleanliness and space of the apartment and quality bed linen and towels. Good location being about 30 minutes walk into St Ives, though bus and train also very close by if preferred. Very close to local amenities such as Tesco, very good deli/café a few minutes walk away. Lots of lovely beach walks close by.

Found Aspects to be a very efficient, helpful company. 5 Ropewalk, St. Margarets is a lovely apartment, but has a rather disappointing "sea view" as mainly obscured by trees. The patio is north facing, as are most of Carbis Bay properties that have a sea view aspect, so gets no/very little sun. Although the bedrooms back onto quite a busy main road, we were not aware of road noise at all when windows closed. Could be a problem in the summer however. Apartment could do with some finishing "dressing" i.e. Privacy blinds in bedrooms, pictures on walls, and another chair/ sofa in lounge.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your review. We were sorry to see that you found the sea view to be slightly obscured by the trees in front of the property, whilst you can still see the sea from the property, due to it being further back within Carbis Bay, it isn't the beachside view that you can experience from other properties closer to the sea itself. We are sorry if this was not what you had expected. The property is not far from the main road, which can be busy at times, so with windows open, you may hear some traffic, though it is certainly not the kind of level that you would experience in much busier towns and cities, and so far, feedback has been very good with regards to this. Thank you very much for your suggestions about what you think could be added to the property to improve it, we are always so grateful for constructive comments such as this and we will make sure this is highlighted to the property owner, for their consideration. We do hope to see you again soon. Ben, Customer Services

We had a wonderful stay at this modern apartment. Great location for Carbis Bay and near to main roads for ease of access when travelling. There is a steep walk back from the Bay which may affect those with mobility issues, other than that great restaurants and coastal walks both sides of the Bay taking you to St Ives and beautiful Porth Kidney Sands. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again. Many thanks.

Myself and my partner would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful apartment. Its in a great location for getting out and about in Cornwall.

Fantastic, clean apartment which is perfectly located. Easy walk to Tesco’s, 9 min walk to beach (v steep climb back), 5 min walk to train station, where you can get a train to St Ives taking just 3 minutes. I would highly recommend.

Very nicely furnished apartment in modern development. Arrived 2 weeks after easing of Covid-19 lockdown and could not fault cleanliness and safety systems in place. Excellent parking facilities for this area. Apartment within reasonable walking distance of St Ives. Walking to Carbis Bay beach took about 15minutes down a very steep hill so walking back would be a bit of a struggle for anyone with walking difficulties. Nonetheless we would be very happy to return in the future.

We had an amazing stay very modern, clean and fully equipped apartment. Easy access to an amazing beach Carbis Bay and local shops. Easy walking access and bus access to St Ives beach. Would highly recommend this apartment and company. Would definitely revisit and stay here again.
