Uber Cool St Agnes boasts a selection of independent shops to browse, fabulous cafes for coffee or lunch and traditional pubs for a pint of local ale. The local bakery is a well advised stop on the way to the beach for delicious local treats. Stunning coastal walks, breath-taking cliff top views and often great surf are just a short distance away from Off Square. Visit the local butchers and Farm shop to conjure up a local, organic meal or pop out to one of the many eateries in the village for a meal out. Enjoy the spectacular walk to St Agnes Beacon and relax at the beautiful Trevaunance cove. Off Square enables you to enjoy this fabulous spot and makes it easy to venture further afield on the north Cornish coast if you wish.

Holidays in St Agnes

Home to four stunning beaches, St Agnes is a vibrant surf spot, with a world famous bellyboarding competition taking place here each year.  Visit in early August and you'll be able to experience the colourful procession at St Agnes Carnival.

St Agnes provides the perfect base to explore the North Cornwall coastline. With stunning scenery on the doorstep, and a plethora of activities available all year round, there's something to do for everyone. Take a stroll along the streets which are full of quaint shops and cafes or for those looking to be a bit more adventurous, why not try your hand at surfing with one of the local surf schools. 

The beaches of Trevaunance Cove, Trevellas Porth, Chapel Porth, and Porthtowan are all closeby, which are all worthy of a visit and each offering something different.

Surfing in St Agnes

Located on the North coast of Cornwall, St Agnes is a popular surf spot among both locals and visitors. It is more suited to advanced surfers, however if you fancy a go, there are two excellent surf schools nearby to show you the ropes. The nearby beaches at Porthtowan, Perranporth and Portreath are all good for surfing too, so you'll have plenty to choose from when deciding where to go. Events in St Agnes

A 'must see' event among both locals and visitors is the St Agnes Bolster Festival, which tells the story of the bolster giant which was known to terrorise the locals. This takes place on the May bank holiday weekend each year. 

St Agnes Carnival takes place each year during the first week of August. Locals gather along with tourists who have travelled especially for this special occasion.
