Meadow Cottage is a beautiful, two bedroom, property sleeping up to four guests, and up to two dogs, and the benefit of parking for multiple cars right outside. Being all on one level, this peaceful retreat is suitable for all. The outside area is made up of a garden with outdoor furniture and decking area, where you can sit and enjoy beautiful countryside views over lunch or evening drinks. Spacious rooms make up the inside of the cottage, with a large open plan kitchen/living area, stylishly furnished yet keeping comfort in mind, and both bedrooms offering a peaceful night's sleep, ample storage, and wall-mounted TVs.

Located in a rural location near to St Agnes, staying in Meadow Cottage means you are situated in the stunning surroundings in an area of natural beauty. Take a mile long stroll along the nearby footpath, where you'll find yourself on the beautiful National Trust beach of Chapel Porth, and dramatic ruins of the old Wheal Coates tin mine. A few minutes in the car can lead you to the picturesque village of St Agnes, where you can wander around the museum showing local history, head on a sightseeing tour aboard a paddleboard, or sample some local cuisine and ales in the pubs, cafes and bakeries.

Holidays in St Agnes

Home to four stunning beaches, St Agnes is a vibrant surf spot, with a world famous bellyboarding competition taking place here each year.  Visit in early August and you'll be able to experience the colourful procession at St Agnes Carnival.

St Agnes provides the perfect base to explore the North Cornwall coastline. With stunning scenery on the doorstep, and a plethora of activities available all year round, there's something to do for everyone. Take a stroll along the streets which are full of quaint shops and cafes or for those looking to be a bit more adventurous, why not try your hand at surfing with one of the local surf schools. 

The beaches of Trevaunance Cove, Trevellas Porth, Chapel Porth, and Porthtowan are all closeby, which are all worthy of a visit and each offering something different.

Surfing in St Agnes

Located on the North coast of Cornwall, St Agnes is a popular surf spot among both locals and visitors. It is more suited to advanced surfers, however if you fancy a go, there are two excellent surf schools nearby to show you the ropes. The nearby beaches at Porthtowan, Perranporth and Portreath are all good for surfing too, so you'll have plenty to choose from when deciding where to go. Events in St Agnes

A 'must see' event among both locals and visitors is the St Agnes Bolster Festival, which tells the story of the bolster giant which was known to terrorise the locals. This takes place on the May bank holiday weekend each year. 

St Agnes Carnival takes place each year during the first week of August. Locals gather along with tourists who have travelled especially for this special occasion.
