Festivals Galore in Falmouth!

Cornwall’s maritime capital isn’t just about the ocean gazing. As well as being something of a foodie destination, exotic waterside locale and activity centre, Falmouth’s packed events schedule sees to everyone’s entertainment needs in spectacular style.

There’s always something going on in Falmouth, but for those visiting during the spring/summer months, there are two particularly popular festivals on the long list available that qualify as must-dos: Fal River Festival and Falmouth Street Food & Craft Ales Festival.

Not only do these fabulous festivals allow visitors to explore the local scenery, but provide a wealth of flavours, sights and sounds in which to become immersed during an unforgettable series of days out.

An assortment of venues will host a range of exhibitions, from Artists Afloat and Folk of the Sea at Falmouth Art Gallery to Find the Time at Trelissick and a mass of Open Studios throughout the town and beyond.

Enjoy the outdoors with a spot of supping (or SUP yoga!), a river cruise, archery, scuba diving, snorkel safari, Canadian canoeing, Surya yoga camp, foraging, Nordic walking or even don your wetsuit for the bracing Castle to Castle open water swim.

Culture vultures will delight in offerings such as of Film on the Ferry and a string of workshops, lectures and talks; while younger visitors will love the likes of a Woodland Wild Day, Cornwall Circus Camp, Stargazing at Penperth Farm, The Big Fal River Litter Pick, and Kids Survival Challenge.
