Super apartment with everything you could need in a great setting.

What a fabulous week spent at Captain’s Retreat! Such a fabulous spacious apartment in a superb location. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday stay and is so comfortable for lazy evenings and long lie ins. So much to do locally within walking distance and easy access to transport further afield, easy parking and great restaurants nearby. What a great holiday!

The apartment is lovely, spacious and situated in a gorgeous bay, plenty of buses to get you out exploring, there are some local pubs not too far away, we went to becks chippy and it was fantastic we also dined at the Cornish arms (booking required) was a lovely meal.

Just had a fabulous two week stay at The Captains Reach, the apartment was spacious, clean and very comfy. Lovely view of the sea too. Was great having an enclosed garden for our dog. Occupants of upstairs apartment did appear to walk around like a herd of elephants at times which was a little annoying, but didn’t spoil our stay. Lovely coastal walk into St Ives and easy to get train too. Overall we had a fantastic stay, we love Carbis Bay and would definitely return.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are so sorry that you experienced noise from the apartment above. Whilst apartments can come with a risk of hearing some noise from adjoining properties, this is not something that has been raised as an issue previously, but with many properties like this being let out as holiday rentals, it may be that there are different people in there each week, so we would hope that what you experienced was a one-off. It sounds like you enjoyed everything else about it, so we hope that this didn't take the shine off it for you. Tanya, Customer Services

Fabulous holiday. Apartment top notch and would definitely recommend booking. Even have a wine cooler. Used all week. ?? Bus stop outside. Park straight across the Rd. Get ready for the lung busting walk down the hill to the beach. It that's most of St Ives.
