Perfect location, great views, close to the railway station to st Ives, supermarket and great little restaurants all close by, you don’t really need your car so long as you don’t mind steep hills!

We have visited Capstan on many occasions and have always enjoyed our time there, the apartment must be good as it keeps pulling us back ( it seems like a home from home) it has everything you need to ensure a great holiday and the little extras left for us were most appreciated.

A lovely week spent at Capstan. The apartment is beautiful, very comfortable, homely feel it, the beds are incredibly comfy! All the equipment you could desire and a lovely welcome pack was the cherry on top. The convenience of the train station is great and easy access to the beach. Getting back home has improved my fitness ??. I wouldnt hesitate to revisit or recommend to others, you will have a lovely time with a central base for a variety of activities for all seasons ??

Once again a lovely stay at Capstan ( looking forward to returning in a few weeks) we never tire of this comfortable apartment and always feel like we are coming home! The lovely touches on our arrival were very much appreciated so thankyou.

Great location, lovely accommodation just a shame the people above were very noisy. Would not book ground floor apartment again. Sorry

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are so sorry that you experienced noise from the apartment above. Whilst apartments can come with a risk of hearing some noise from adjoining properties, we have not noticed any noise on our visits to the property in the past, or had guests raise this as an issue previously. But with differing guests in the apartment upstairs each week, we would hope that what you experienced was a one-off. It sounds like you enjoyed everything else about it and that location is fantastic, so we hope that this didn't take the shine off it too much for you. Tanya, Customer Services

Second key would be appreciated,

Reply from Aspects Holidays

We are sorry to hear that the second key couldn't be located. The owner has always supplied a second key in the property. We will get the housekeeper to have a check for it and if it can't be located, we will arrange a replacement. Thank you for letting us know. Tanya, Customer Services

Good holiday very clean apartment thank you

We have loved our holiday here and will be back. Great location just up the hill from the beach, near the train station but barely hear any trains.

Lovely modern apartment, with a door from the lounge out to the patio which has a sea view. Master bedroom also has a sea view. Kitchen has all the equipment needed.

Great holiday from start to finish, this is our go to apartment for a relaxing time, the train into St.Ives only takes about 3mins and we never tire of it. There are plenty of lovely walks and plenty of benches to sit and watch the world go by! We are returning soon so watch this space!

Capstan apartment wonderful, lovely home from home feeling, great location near to many amenities with the little train into St.Ives a bonus hope to be returning!

Absolutely stunning. The apartment is clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. The views are gorgeous, you really won’t want to leave.

Capstan was set in a good location - very close to the Carbis Bay Beach, We enjoyed the easy access to the train station for the short journey into St Ives. Also enjoyed watching the stunning sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable.

Capstan was one of many holiday apartments we've rented in Cornwall over the years. It is also one of, if not the best. It is perfectly located with stunning sea views from the terrace, sitting room and master bedroom. It is very close to Carbis Bay beach that you can walk to via the (very steep) main road or through Carbis Bay station car park (that's 2 minutes down from the apartment) then down the zig zag wooded area or down the cliff steps. It's just £1 on the train to St Ives. Perfect! The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had all the equipment/amenities you could need come rain or shine - and we had both during our 2 week stay in June. In addition Aspects Customer Service was second to none when we needed to contact them about something. We would love to revisit in the future and we don't often say that!

A brilliant holiday apartment well equipt, stunning view's from the patio

So close to the railway station just one stop to St Ives

Capstan was just how I wanted it to be. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Excellent location! Aspects acted quickly with a couple of issues, all fixed the same day. Well done Aspects!

A gem of a place! Capstan is very comfortable, well-equipped and particularly well-located just above the little station. You’ll find everything you need for a fantastic stay. If you need to pre-book tickets or download anything however you’ll need to go outside onto the main terrace or elsewhere as the phone signal/wi-fi is intermittent at best despite excellent availability just a little way away. For this reason, it’s four star rather than the five it ought to be. Highly-recommended though, and we all had a completely wonderful week exploring SW Cornwall.

Reply from Aspects Holidays

Thank you for your review and we are glad to hear that you had such a lovely time here. Whilst the phone signal is very much out of the owner's control, with it being extremely patchy in Cornwall, and St Ives in particular; they have since upgraded the Wi-Fi connection to improve internet access. Thank you for your helpful comments and hopefully we will see you back here again soon. Tanya, Customer Services
