Take to the water
By natural design, the Roseland Peninsula is the perfect spot for water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. There are also regular boat trips from St Mawes to Falmouth and scenic day trips to surrounding attractions during the summer months. There are ample beaches around the Peninsula with Pendower and Carne beaches easily accessible and perfect for exploring coves and paddling in rockpools! There are lesser-known beaches such as Towan and Portscatho which are made up of rock and pebble with sandy stretches but are equally beautiful and are perfect for sunbathing and swimming.
Attractions and Gardens
The Roseland Peninsula is perfect for gardeners with Lamorran Gardens at the nearby village of St Mawes and The Lost Gardens of Heligan a 30 minute drive away. Venture out and you’ll find Pendennis Castle located on the outskirts of Falmouth town and the famous Eden Project in St Austell. If you’re a walking enthusiast you’ll find numerous routes around the Peninsula, complete with picturesque scenery and spectacular beaches.

The Daphne Du Maurier Fowey Literary Festival is a celebration of the arts featuring world-class authors, speakers and musicians. This year's festival will open with a performance by the highly acclaimed 'The Overtones'.

An ancient annual event, Helston Flora Day features traditional dances throughout the day, where crowds line the streets to watch the procession. In addition, visitors can enjoy craft, food and drinks stalls, as well as a large fairground.
