Beautiful views of the harbour. Comfortable and well equipped apartment. Stairs are manageable but could definitely do with an upgrade which we understand is being arranged. The property does suffer with condensation, which is only to be expected with a building this old and with the lovely original sash windows. Due to this we did leave the windows slightly open which meant we could appreciate the lovely views, but the downside was it did get cold. I was glad I packed my warm pyjamas and my thick socks But it is a lovely apartment with a gorgeous outlook

A beautiful well equipped apartment with the most amazing views of the harbour. The apartment is extremely comfortable, spacious and equipped with eveything you need. It is furnished to a very high standard and even your fur legged friends are provided for. The location of the property gives you the ability to explore all the lovely shops but gives you the privacy of being tucked away. A bonus that you also get a parking space. Yes it’s narrow but not difficult to maneuver into. Please do not be put off by the stairs to the property they are well lite up, have handrails to support you and have been fitted with non-slip material. We never found them a problem at all and neither did our fur legged doggies.

Our second visit to the Sail Loft and it didn’t disappoint. Just love that it has everything on our must have list, all the nice to haves, plus some bonuses like the stunning views out over the Harbour.

Brilliant location but, as it is on a ‘working harbour’, on some days expect to be woken extremely early by fishermen going about their business. As we are early risers it was no issue for us. Showers were poor and needed to be set on ‘eco’ to get the best out of them. Apartment was very clean throughout and beds were very comfortable. Mevagissey is a beautiful little harbour with plenty of good places to eat or just have a cup of tea.

Note - You may need to park elsewhere. If you have a large car/SUV you will struggle to use the allocated parking due to narrow access.

The position of The Sail Loft in Mevagissey could not be better, right on the harbour wharf and as short distance to everything you need for a pleasant stay in this wonderful little village, with shops, pubs and restaurant within easy walking distance, there is a reserved parking space close to the property, Aspect Holidays provided us with an arrival pack with property and local information, access to the property was via the usual keysafe.

The layout of the Sail Loft is sensible and felt comfortable, the property was clean throughout and decorated to a good standard, the main living area was large, seating is provided by a two- and a three- seater settee’s, there is also a large dining table that can accommodate six persons, and lastly the kitchen area with oven, hon and all equipment necessary to prepare and make meals if necessary.

The view from the two living area windows, and the main bedroom window, are fabulous over the inner harbour, you could sit all day and watch the world go by, or TV and Wi-Fi are available to help you pass the time, all heating throughout is by electric radiators.

The main bedroom bed could be bigger for a couple, but has the advantage of a wonderful view and an en suite bathroom, the rear bedroom has two single beds, in both bedrooms there is ample wardrobe and drawer space, there is a separate family bathroom across the hall from the bedrooms, but be aware you will be in sight of the surrounding properties through the clear glass of the entrance door.

If you have any issues climbing stairs, please be aware the property is accessed via three short flights of external stairs, exposed to the elements, not greatly lit and care needs to be taken when using these.
