I'm very happy I booked my cornish holiday with aspects holidays. They were the best value for money I could find online and the flat was more spacious and comfortable than I'd expected. I would definitely book through aspects holidays again. Thank you! Hugo

What a lovely studio, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the weather certainly helped. Out of the village and up a hill but only a 15 min walk, fine if you take your time back up. The road up is single track in places so expect a bit of reversing and giving way if you meet anything coming the other way. Mevagissey is an ideal base to explore with lots or bars and restaurants and bistros to sample without having to go to the same place every day/night. We would definitely return.

Holidays in Mevagissey

Stay in Mevagissey and you’ll be perfectly placed to explore all that the south coast of Cornwall has to offer. Take a ferry trip to Fowey, visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan or spend a day at the beach at the nearby Pentewan Sands.

Best known for its harbour and fishing boats, Mevagissey still boasts as being part of Cornwall’s thriving fishing industry. Fresh fish can even be bought from the hut on the harbour wall, located a short stroll from the village aquarium, once the lifeboat station. Wander around the harbour area, with its narrow streets, fascinating shops and galleries and recall its smuggling history, or just relax in the bars and restaurants and coves and on nearby beaches.

There is a ferry boat which runs from end of April to beginning of October from Mevagissey to Fowey three or four times a day (don’t miss the return journey!) – journey time about 35 minutes. You may be lucky and spot some playful dolphins!

Amazing views from the window and balcony! You get lots of sun too, so we sat outside in the sunshine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Really clean, spacious and had everything that we needed. A short walk to Portmellon and Mevagissey too. We would definitely love to come back!

A really lovely apartment, well equipped, beautifully decorated, excellent views in a lovely area. Aspects communicated really well with us and even checked in to ensure we knew how to contact them if there were any problems. Only thing I would mention is there is a very narrow road you have to use to access the property so something to be aware of if you have a larger car.

Location brilliant. Furnishings and decor in the chalet were lovely. The ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mould - bathroom fan clearly not powerful enough to remove moisture from shower. There was no key for the outside bin - we had to borrow a key from the next door chalet. The frying pan has lost its non-stick capability and needs replacing. There was no vacuum cleaner so we couldn't clean the floor before we left - if the weather had been bad during the week and we had muddy boots it would have been a real problem. For some reason the LED lights on the front of the chalet stayed on all night and shone light into the chalet - the timer setting needs adjusting.

We are so sorry that you arrived to the ceiling like that. Unfortunately, the extractor fan wasn't working properly. The ceiling has been attended to and the fan repaired, so that it is well ventilated again. We have since inspected the property and it seems to be doing the good job now, as there was no sign of any mould in there. Thanks for letting us know. The lights have also been attended to and your other feedback sent on to the owner for their consideration. Thanks for the feedback and we do hope that you still enjoyed your time there. Lovely apartment, great location, everything look very new wi-fi connection very good and parking space a real bonus. Would recommend to friend & family.

My husband and I have just returned from a week in Cornwall staying in the Garden Studios, Mevagissey. Location - as stated there are quite a few steps up to the studio but this didn’t present any problem for us (ages 64 and 63). The walk into Mevagissey is a leisurely 15 minutes downhill, obviously a bit longer coming back uphill, but there is a lovely little garden overlooking the harbour you can sit in to get your breath back. We parked the car when we arrived and didn’t use it again until we left. Accessing the various coves/beaches does require some rather hilly walks but well worth the effort. We used the bus service to visit Pentewan Beach and the Lost Gardens of Heligan and found them to be reliable and efficient. The accommodation itself has been refurbished to a very high standard and i don’t think I have ever stayed anywhere that was so well equipped. The kitchen had everything you would need to self cater including washing up liquid/cleaning equipment, kitchen roll as well as complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk. There was a clothes line and pegs, iron and hairdryer also supplied. The Garden Studio also has a private patio at the back with table and chairs together with one on the front balcony. We had a wonderful time staying here and would highly recommend it as a great base to visit Cornwall’s many delights.

Nice accommodation lovely spot reasonably well priced apartment had everything you needed bev northants

Small but perfect, great location and nice outside areas to enjoy when weather allows. Very clean and had everything we needed for our weeks stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Garden Studio. The accommodation was cosy, well appointed and well equipped. Everything looked brand new ! The front patio had an oblique sea view to the left and a lovely valley view to the front. The back patio was very secluded but with no views. The allocated parking was great and the steps, up to the studio, were not a problem for us either. We would definitely stay again.

The garden studio is a perfect getaway for 2 people. The back patio is far bigger than the photos show and the front patio has fab views (fields straight ahead but you can also see the sea to the left too). The studio has everything that you need if you wish to self cater and isn't too far from the harbour with lots of restaurants to choose from. Bed is very comfortable and the shower is better than ours at home! Small but perfectly formed and all in all, a great place to stay and very reasonably priced.

Perfect accommodation for a couple wanting to explore the Cornwall coastline and Mevagissey harbour. Small and compact but with every essential required for self catering. A great holiday had. We will be returning!
