Escape to a haven of tranquillity and natural beauty in a secluded valley surrounded by the breathtaking Cornish countryside; James Cottage is a charming three-bedroom, barn conversation, located just South of the Helford River in the tiny hamlet of Tregidden. Located on an eight-acre grounds, alongside Cob Cottage, which can also be booked through Aspects Holidays, some of the neighbours you will share Higher Tregidden with are the resident sheep, pigs and poultry, who you are welcome to help feed.

The warm and welcoming interior has exposed beams throughout, and has three comfortable bedrooms, making it the perfect sanctuary for families and friends seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Venture further afield and you'll find the delightful coastal villages of St Keverne and Coverack which are lined with colourful cottages and traditional pubs. Or if you would prefer, dine al fresco with a homemade pizza cooked in your very own outside pizza oven, which is available on request, and stargaze the night away around the fire pit.

Holidays in Helford River

Helford River is a large estuary nestled between Falmouth and the Lizard Peninsula, stretching almost 50km, up to the old port of Gweek. You’ll find a plethora of hidden beaches, stunning scenery and picturesque villages.

Renowned for its micro-climate, this part of the south coast benefits from a balmy climate, where tropical plants flourish. Experience this for yourselves at one of the beautiful sub-tropical gardens on the Helford River.

With numerous walks and waterside pubs, you can spend your days exploring different parts of the river, discovering hidden creeks and ending each day at a different Cornish pub.
