Our tea-rific fundraising morning!

Lots of cakes are displayed on a blue table cloth.

When the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity announced their latest fundraising campaign, ‘The Great Cornish Cuppa and Cake’, we knew we had to get involved. What could be better than tea and cake?

Tea, cake and raising money for our local hospitals, of course!

Several people form a line, waiting for cake.

After registering for the event, we got to work planning our cuppa and cake morning. We called upon local businesses we have connections with and were delighted by the their support. We kindly received donations from The Makers and BakedPz, along with tea from Cornish Tea, who also kindly lent us a selection of mugs and teapots, and napkins from our friends at Whistlefish.

Orange mugs and teapots are lined up next to the cakes.

So, on a sunny day in June, we decorated our office garden with colourful bunting, got the deckchairs out, put the kettle on, and filled the table with an array of splendid cakes and bakes! From the incredible Chocolate cake donated by The Makers to the carrot cake and pavlova made by our team members, there really was something for everyone!

Leah from Aspects Holidays holds a large slice of chocolate cake.

Welcoming colleagues from our Hayle offices, we enjoyed a morning of tea and cake in the sunshine and raised an amazing £327 for hospitals in Cornwall!
