Treplevna
Pendeen

£454 - £1107 per week
Book

Joining us in late 2025, Treplevna is a charming cottage sleeping four, with parking for one car, located in the village of Pendeen. Spend slow mornings wrapped in the cool, crisp linens with the morning papers and a cup of piping hot, Cornish coffee in hand. When the little ones start to stir, enjoy the views from Treplevna's rear bedroom. As you hear the grazing sheep gently bleating nearby, look across the fields to embrace the glorious views of the sea and Pendeen Lighthouse too. With seating in both gardens, a few stolen moments in the sunshine is beckoned on those fair weather days. The carefully considered layout gives plenty of living space and the sunroom, bursting with natural light, is a great spot to catch up on your latest read.

With two dogs welcomed, family holidays are complete. Whether you're heading for a ramble on the nearby coastal path, or watching the pups as they happily frolic on the beach, feeling the sand between their paws; these are the memories to treasure forever. Take a stroll into the heart of the village to pick up some essentials from the local shop and enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast or lunch at Geevor Tin Mine, before stopping off for a refreshing drink in the village pub on your way home. After supper, when the temperature drops, spend evenings sitting by the flickering flames of the fire pit, under a blanket of twinkling stars, making plans for the next day's adventure. As the winter nights draw in, there's no better way to create a romantic ambience than being snuggled up together on the sofa, as the woodburner crackles and a bottle of red gently warms beside. Treplevna is a very special home and ideally located to explore this rugged and picturesque corner of Cornwall.

Holidays in Pendeen

Once a thriving mining area, Pendeen is home to the award winning Geevor Tin Mine Museum, which was one of the last mines in the country to close. Retaining the feel of a traditional Cornish village, and with stunning scenery on the doorstep, Pendeen is perfect for a self catering summer holiday, out of season visit, or short break.

Although secluded, theres still plenty on offer in this part of West Cornwall. Situated in a National Landscape (formerly Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), Pendeen is also recognised as a site of special scientific interest and a world heritage site. Pendeen is the perfect place to explore the ancient sites of Chun Castle and Chun Quoit, and the rugged coastline for which North Cornwall is renowned. Walkers will be in their element with access to the South West Coast Path, and many inland walks.
