A couple of lucky members of the Aspects Holidays marketing team were invited over to Rock for a water ski session with Camel Ski School on a sunny spring afternoon.

Based on the Camel Estuary on the north Cornish coast, Camel Ski School specialises in water skiing, wakeboarding and paddleboarding. We arrived at the school and were provided with wetsuits and lifejackets and our instructor Eddie, gave us a ‘how to’ on dry land before we headed out to board the boat.

We headed out to the dedicated water ski area on the estuary in the basking sunshine, slightly nervous at the prospect of this new experience! After getting into position in the water, Eddie started the boat and off we went, and after a few wipe-outs we finally started to get the hang of it! Doug even had a go at wakeboarding, and we managed to get a few action shots!

We had an adrenaline-filled afternoon and had so much fun, our instructor Eddie was a great teacher with the utmost patience for us novices! Here is what Marketing Assistant Molly had to say about the experience: “Having never done anything like this before, I was quite nervous to start but the instructor Eddie was very reassuring and told me exactly what to do when we got on the water. I had a great afternoon and would definitely visit Camel Ski again for another session!”
